Well, we're almost done with the category cleanup, so I'd like to hear some suggestions. Basically I'd like to discuss some category renamings and mergings.

An assassin is someone who kills for money, whether it is a bounty hunter or a hired goon.
Well, if you say it. But, do you like idea of rename "Parody Villains" as "Parodies"? If I'm not wrong, you're removing "villains" from categories to reduce redundancies?
Yes; I agree with changing it to Parodies.
A question: would a character be categorized as "Magic" even if the product they are in specifically states that it is NOT magic they are using for such powers and abilities? For example, Neopolitan from RWBY can create illusions, disguises, and teleport. However, in the RWBY universe, these are powers unique to her called a semblance, which is tied to her soul. Magic is an entirely different thing in that universe. So would it be wrong to put her in a "Magic" category despite the fact that her powers are specifically said to NOT BE MAGIC? The same applies to alchemy from the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise; despite acting like magic to us, it is considered an advanced sience to them with magic being entirely different.

OK, I see.

We are in the process of trying to consolidate and minimize categories. There comes a point where keeping things in keeping with In-Universe/Franchise terms is at cross-purpose to this goal.
Understand that this wikia is primarily for casual visitors seeking information on characters which are villains. The majority of which do not necessarily know the differences of fine points about specific franchises, and who are usually arriving here following links from Search Engine results; meaning while categories are important to *us* the community striving to upkeep and improve this wikia, they are not as important to the casual visitor. In other words, very few casual visitors are using categories as search tools to the same extent that we are.
Uhm.
Gaoler. Seriously recommend this be re-labeled. It is an esoteric and outdated term which most people have little inkling about without visiting the cat page for the definition.
Understandable. I'm just concerned about visitor confusion. In RWBY's case, most of the powers are not magic (more of a spiritual science), but magic does officially exist and is utilized by certain characters. However, because they all have powers, they would all fall under "Magic", even if they don't (officially) weild it?

Maybe Jailer?

Drop a man from the 14th century into Modern NYC, what would he think of all the marvels to be found? Upon his *return home*, how would he explain it all, even if he was told *and understood the concepts* of how the Wonders Work? Which to *us* are not magic.
We are dropped into the World of Remnant. We see wonderous things. So on this wikia, our home, how do we explain the wonders we see on RWBY?
Another analogy: go to a supermarket and ask for something. You get directed to an aisle. Once there you have to look for the specific product you want.
Well, in-depth specifics are in the Articles but categories only need to be "Aisle Markers".
