as for using categories instead of content, this is behavior I think admins will now need to kick in the butt and the heck with the tantrums - from now on articles should focus on information NOT on categories or villain scales or trivia.
there's a few things we'll need to fix, it seems.. seems this year is another "Purge" year.. hence why I've decided on a Zero Tolerance policy to tantrums / threats and back-talking - until we can sort out these things once and for all.
time to start being stricter on the Manual of Styles and so on, me thinks.. drill into certain users minds once and for all that wikis are a team-effort and articles should be largely uniformed, not the current mish-mash of styles we have at the moment.. as it stands many users seem to do their own thing and don't seem to play along with the system, often to the point of being the Annoying Peasant in Monty Python.. time to stop that stuff and reward the users who are helping to improve things.
forums and the like are good tools now to get the community going and admins can use them to teach about the types of articles we want, the style we expect articles to be written and, if needed, the continued reminder that changes are made as admins see fit and tantrums over said changes will only end in blocks (civilized debates and counters will always be welcome but we're not a democracy and we never have/will be.. no wiki is.. you don't join a club and dictate the rules.. same with wikis).
