Rotti Largo was downvoted once, but was discussed and the upvoted. This is a legitmate discussion with how high the heinous standard and how common Hidan's crimes ultimately are in the grand scheme of things.

Keep. If you already brought him up once before, why bother doing it again? Im sorry but it just wastes peoples times bringing up an already concluded candidate more than once.

Allaround he makes the most with his resources, and Naruto doesn’t have too high standards to prevent Hidan from qualifying.

There have been numerous instances on here where villains who were upvoted or downvited initially were reevaluated (Sofia, Rotti Largo, Montgomery de la Cruz, etc).

Hidan could have been worse. He only truly crosses the MEH once or twice. A lot of people eclipse his body count. Torture and sadism is nothing new.

On removal proposals, I say "no" for keep and "yes" for cut. From what it sounds like, Hidan could have been worse, but he's still horrible, and he seems to do enough with his resources.

Yeah. Personally I dont think candidates should be brought up more than once, UNLESS some actual new points are being brought up (that wasn’t discussed before) in the recent discussion about said candidates (e.g Roger). (Or in some cases for TV-Show villains that a new season is being released.) An user’s personal opinions on the character is not a reason for bringing said candidate more than once. But some may disagree with me on that which I can respect.

I haven’t seen the previous discussion about Hidan so can’t tell if you pointed out something new this time.

I personally say cut, others including one of the first thus presumably weaker had a body count of over 100, the terrorist organization was full of cold blooded killers and frankly an extremely high heinous standard. Hidan in another work would be an easy keep but for Naruto not so much. The only thing in his favor is low tier but as mentioned so was one of the earliest villains with over 100 kills shown in flashback, Hidan may have been a little more personal for killing a somewhat popular character that was a mentor for a secondary hero/character but I don't personally feel that's enough to truly justify it.

Eh. I think I'll just keep myself undecided for this guy for the time being.

This is just me, and I’ll probably be refuted to heck over saying this but I’m not really into the “already discussed” vibe that people are claiming this to be. Sure, it was discussed before, I won’t argue against that but it was only once and not nearly as much as other villains such as Ernesto de la Cruz, or Light Yagami. I don’t feel like enough people gave their thoughts previously (kind of like how Looper reproposed Rowan North from the new Ghostbusters) but I don’t have control over other people’s thoughts, so I won’t actively fight back against that if that’s the general feeling among most people.
