I have no idea why the wiki is against the inclusion of the Dursleys.. they are abusers and went way beyond just being jerks.. Vernon especially would of been arrested several times over for child abuse.

Can we have admins review this policy? I feel the Dursleys are a classic example of an abusive family and deserve a place on this wiki - we have characters who do far less heinous things and most importantly what the Dursleys do are illegal..

Not just jerky.. outright illegal.. they starve Haryy, they emotionally abuse him, they put bars on his windows, they threaten to kidnap him rather than let him go to Hogwarts.. Vernon is even physically abusive to Harry but only backs off because he's an obese coward who quickly realizes he can't bully a being with supernatural powers.

Dudley is a bully and gets progressively more violent later on, while he does redeem let's not forget Dudley is one of the only Dursleys who actually physically assaults Harry (again later on).. it took a Dementor's Kiss to wake Dudley up to just how horrible a man he was destined to become and it says a lot that when he saw just how bad he could of become he instantly repented.
