It comes from a wiki

So basically it was created by a bunch of fans who are interested in stuff like that. Interesting.

SCP started out as a single forum post on 4Chan, detailing the one that started it all: SCP-173. Shortly afterwards multiple other posts written in the same style and set in the same universe showed up. One year later these posts were copied into a seperate wiki that eventually evolved into the massive library it is today.

There a thousand correct? Well since I can not go to school (covid effect), I have no job, and I live with my parents, then I might be able to get far.

One thousand articles? Nah. Over 5000 of them. And that's just the articles. There's also the Tales section, which are more traditional short stories rather than the special containment procedures.
