These villains have redeemed themselves, but they feel unsympathetic towards the audience. It gets to the point you feel as though they are a karma houdini.

Henry Wu, Chancellor Neighsay, Discord, Bo-Katan, and Ben Linus (though I do like him for the most part).
Dr. Brenner isn't a Karma Houdini. I mean, he was *CENSORED* in Season 4.
Right, I forgot about that.
Was he killed?
Well Dr. Wu never really got any retribution for his actions which kinda pissed me off, but I did feel some sympathy for him as his remorse clearly left him in a deep depression.
Discord. The guy gave the trio the whole idea. He's the one who should have been stoned.
Neighsay. I have to put up with people like him in all walks of life. But no, shift the blame from him to a child who needed 20 more drafts in order to be a good villain. Not to mention it raises too many red flags about Equestria's legal system.
Iroh. He's a war criminal who was complacent in the civilian casualties in the Sieges of Ba Sing Se and the North Pole. But I should should care more about the fact that his son was killed? His son was a war criminal who got what he deserved. His father should have revealed to be evil. And his lessons have done me more harm than good.
Lucy(Elfen Lied): She killed 9000 people, men, women, and children. Why should I blame some bad kids for her crimes when she worse than they ever could? That flashback was the reverse of the Batman animated series episode Mad Love. While Mad Love warned about how dangerous people manipulate others intro feeling bad for them via sob stories, Elfen Lied says listen to them. And that flashback had sob story written all over it.
Well, there are theories that if Lucy hadn't killed Tomoo and his friends, Tomoo would have likely grown up to become a serial killer, and possibly his friends as well, due to their cruel behaviour towards animals in such flashback. Not that Lucy became better than them, anyway.
I am so sick of that argument. They can't rip people apart like that... but she can. It's just like how fans of Daenerys Targaryean fuss about how Arya Stark gets off scott free for doing the same crimes as Danearys Targaryean. But the difference is, Dany has living weapons of mass destruction on her side, Arya doesn't. And ARYA DID NOT INTENTIONALLY KILL CHILDREN. And when she had that accidental murder of a child, she IMMEDIATELY regretted it.
I focus on who's the most dangerous, not who's the most hated. Given the choice between killing Carrie and her bullies... I'm sparing the bullies.
It's his opinion. He doesn't have to agree with you.
What do you think?
