@Blue Salamance nope. Most of the fanbase agrees that one act doesn't come remotely close to making him a better person, especially with how rushed his redemption was. He spent an an entire season as a murderous racist bully and then does one good action and all is forgiven? Nah Jason over Billy any day.

Go to any website lol. Billy is NOT as loved as he used to be. He was a racist abuser. More people consider Jason to be a better person. On Stranger Things wiki, reddit, youtube etc.

That's not evidence. You can round up a few dozen comments on any site to support any position you like. Even Honest Trailers felt Jason had it coming.

And DeadMeat felt Billy had it coming. Even Caleb McLaughlin called Jason a better person. At least Honest Trailers agreed Jason had a right to blame Eddie.

He didn't do anything with malicouse intent, just to stop Eddie who he belrived to be a serial killer.

That's pretty much whitewashing him. The whole point of Jason's character is that he's too eager to persecute those seen as nonconforming, and he had a problem with Eddie even before Chrissy's death.
