After rewatching some of the Halloween films and seeing the newer ones, I started to like Michael Myers again. He's genuinely interesting, not neccesarily because we don't know anything about him, but because of what little we DO know about him. We know that Michael killed his sister Judith and wants to kill his own family, but why? Interesting fact is that in the original Halloween 2, Michael wrote the word Samhain on a school whiteboard, which means that he's familiar with the history of Halloween. Did he learn Samhain when he was 6 or did he learn about it while he was in Smith's Grove? It's unclear, but that's what makes Michael interesting to me. What little is explained about him. For example, in Halloween Ends, it seems like Michael is so evil that killing is what keeps him alive, and the more he kills the more powerful he becomes, and it's implied that his presence can corrupt people. The only real complaint I have about Michael is that even though he's referred to as the embodiment of evil, which makes sense, why is he referred to as a force of nature? I thought he was more or less a regular human, albeit really strong. But maybe I'm just talking out of my ass there and nitpicking, haha. Anyway, even if Michael is meant to be like a force of nature, which would explain his healing factor, how did he become that way in the first place. I like to think that The Devil gave Michael those powers.
