I mean Tirek does kind of have a backstory compared to Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow. We do know that he seems to have wanted to impress his Father showing that they didn't have the best relationship, but Tirek wanted something.

Also he does care about his grandmother, so I was just thinking maybe he could be tragic instead of pure evil.
