I’ll just move the convo we were having over here:

No, smoking and half the things you said isn’t a crime. She’s just a neutral character doing what she can to survive.
Ditb01·36m
Are you kidding me??? Smoking falls under drug abuse. FDA disproves of those cigarettes
Not to mention she smokes in the bathrooms too, exposed half of herself, and accepted a sexual relationship
Also, she is more than willing to kill people that don’t have it her way.
LazerDisk27·29m
Bro have you been the one smoking? Smoking is not a crime. I don’t remember exposing herself but that doesn’t seem like a crime. Having sex with someone is NOT a crime if it’s consenting. Women hooking up with guys for their own benefit is a super common thing.
When was she willing to kill people again? I don’t remember her doing anything on the purge night and the tug of war was a kill or die situation.
Ditb01·24m
Yeah but she’s cheating on her husband who was needed to help her give birth to that child if she’s gonna be with somebody else. Ain’t that adultery?
She cutter in line for seconds and felt no remorse when 6 of them were starving for food. She also was willing to push the player in front of her to his death to get her way of killing Deok-su.
And about that exposing part, she was half naked in one scene right in public and it was treated as a crime for Walter White too.

What? Okay I’m gonna break down everything you just said:
Ain’t that adultery?
We don’t even know if she was telling the truth about her kids, she could’ve lied to make the masks let her go.
She never mentioned a husband just kids to my knowledge
Its not a crime unless and doesn’t make her villainous unless she is narratively portrayed from the husbands point of view, which even then depends how bad she is
She cutter in line for seconds and felt no remorse when 6 of them were starving for food.
She also was willing to push the player in front of her to his death to get her way of killing Deok-su.
And about that exposing part, she was half naked in one scene right in public and it was treated as a crime for Walter White too.
I feel like you are gonna tell me now that Gihun is a villain for stealing his mom’s credit card and getting mad at 67 for stealing his money.
Ditb01·5m
While yes, your points on Mi-Nyeo are ok, I wouldn’t exactly call Seong Gi-hun and Kang Sae-byeok villains.
The only villainous thing Sae-byeok did was pickpocket and it was to help her brother. Han Mi-nyeo did something similar but it was only for herself.
As for Gi-hun, he wasn’t aware that his gambling addiction was villainous and him threatening to kill people is meant to be unsympathetic to the people he targets. While your supposed to pity the people Han Mi-nyeo endangers in exchange for her being psychopathic/unsympathetic.
