I thought 2023 couldn't surprise me anymore but Vecna is getting a PE removal?!? What happened in the play? Where can I see this play? and why can I find like no information about it... other than it existing.

I can’t believe we’re ending this year off with a bang. Vecna’s getting removed, Moon’s getting proposed, SCP-106 is getting removed, Ratcliffe gotten approved, this year is crazy. We also had several Sword Art Online, Ninjago, and Kung Fu Panda villains approved for Pure Evil.
People, we should avoid saying that Vecna being removed is a disappointment as that strongly gives vibes of the Badge of Honor mentality the wiki must avoid. Besides, considering how Vecna still kills his love's brother and wants to target all of humanity with no mentions of his love interest, maybe the fifth season ends up revealing he stopped caring for her?
Oh okay
I never said that I wouldn’t be willing to give it a shot. After all, it’s the last season. And I’d love to be proven wrong that this is a bad thing.
Im just saying that, as of this moment, it is a disappointment for me. That’s all.
@X9 The Android The problem is not his moral status, we’re complaining about writing inconsistencies. He being removed is just a part of a bigger problem. I can’t complain about, let’s say, Snow, because his redeeming factors made sense. With Vecna everything is confused.
I do agree this surprises me, but maybe Vecna just thought and said the things the Mind-Flayer made him believe? Still let's see what happens in the fifth season.
Ok, let’s see, but I need to say that too many twists can be annoying for the audience.
I don’t think the writers will read this, but I’ll post this anyway.
@X9 The Android I'm not mad that he's being removed from PE because of the concept. Having him gain redeeming qualities or a tragic background is something I'm fine with, but having his entire backstory retconned after establishing him as a mastermind and doing it in some random tie-in play you have to go to London to see is pretty freaking stupid. Still though, I'm holding hopes for Season 5 to clear this up.
Hm, that's something I can agree with.
I’m kinda enjoying all of the chaos this is causing. I haven’t been this invested in Stranger Things or this wiki as a whole in quite a while (the closest being the page for the new incarnation of Ganondorf earlier this year).
What do you think?
