I’m kinda enjoying all of the chaos this is causing. I haven’t been this invested in Stranger Things or this wiki as a whole in quite a while (the closest being the page for the new incarnation of Ganondorf earlier this year).

That said, even if the Duffer Brothers don't read this, I think we shouldn't criticized their writing and say they aren't good with continuity or not. Stranger Things is their show and they can do whatever they wish.

@X9 The Android The Duffers aren’t some newbie on ao3, as long we don’t personally attack them we can absolutely deliver criticism. And even if the show is theirs, there’s still some level of respect towards the audience you need to have.

Yeah I'm with Mario, if they make a complete 180 retcon, criticism is bound to come and writers should expect it.

Plus they aren't even the writers of the play, they just kinda allowed it to happen

And here I thought the writing of Billy Hargrove is awful but revealing Vecna being a tragic figure and being manipulated by the final boss of Earthworm Jim takes the cake.
