I'll be honest his backstory kinda of ruined the eldrich aspect that I like in the show. It was a good backstory but I felt he was more interesting as an eldrich entity. His motives are interesting but not extremely interesting. His personality is that of a very intimidating misanthrope and he cares nothing for life. This characterization is pretty fun to watch but terrifying due to his cold interaction with the characters.
I was going to give him a 4/5 but brought it down to 3/5 since I'm that mix on his character and...ugh, the existence of the stage play that is showhow canon.
