Adam and Lute aren't really toxic, they both have a genuine friendship with each other. With Lute being heartbroken at Adam's death and Adam giving her a comforting smile when he dies.

Why is ther two variants of this?

What is this? Sentinel and Airachnid are not a couple at all, so I don't know where this is coming from other than pure fanfiction materiel. Adam and Lute were never establish of being a couple as well, there just friends. Homelander and Firecracker's relationship is very one-sided as Homelander doesn't even like Firecracker or even attracted to her.
