So I saw this and quite frankly am disgusted by the fact that we are letting a child groomer back onto VW.
"A heads up that I will be unblocking this user under Amnesty. I have not been convinced of the validity of the alleged violation for which they've been blocked, nor do I appreciate the concept that the actions alleged on Discord should be adjudged on Fandom."
X9 admitted the messages are true, She messaged Ord and said she said "the wrong thing" only for it to later be revealed that she was hacked and forced by trolls? This is highly inconsistent and if X9 felt it was better to go along then contact staff, that's another major reason to not trust her.
"I've found the personalities of their accusers and haters riddled with such hatred I'd never wish to be acquainted with them. I'm aghast with the situation X9's been saddled with."
This is peak gaslighting. I'm sorry, we are the bad guys for wanting to keep a groomer away from the site? If users are contacting her with harrassment, then yes it is wrong, but most of the ones were acting in good faith. I was "playing vigilante" because Ruby is my friend, I was concerned for her safety and wanted to keep her and other minors safe. Fandom wouldn't have a done a thing if I contacted them with a ticket, so I should their behaviour towards the main wikis they visited. And to be frank, I am really unimpressed with how a lot of these X9 defenders are giving her sympathy and going "poor her, she has been set up and mean people are targeting her!" while not once showing concern for Ruby - the minor that she contacted. And TBH the fact that X9 tried to apologize to Ruby only to attack her and she clearly didn't accept it shows a lot about her overall character, we should not be this favourable towards someone who attacked their own victim when she doesn’t give them when she wants. This is behaviour very much like abusers.
“However, the backlash she received was too unbalanced to remain on the sidelines for so long. Enough for me to never want to interact with many of the users for fear of taint of smell. Personally, I wonder if some who have Fandom levels of permissions should even retain them. The Pro-Wrestler has been suggested.”
Are we really suggesting to demote an admin for trying to protect minors? This is messed up and as someone who is good friends with Pro, he acted in good-faith throughout the entire situation.
Overall this is just a lot of gaslighting at us to make us seem like the bad guys while acting like X9 is a poor victim, and tbqh no explanation was even given for X9's supposed innocence
