Dolores Umbridge

There are villains we like because we find them cool. There are also villains we feel sorry for because of their tragic backstories. There are even villains we respect because they have some admirable qualities. And then there are villlains we totally despise and root against. Who is the villain you hate the most in all of fiction? And, please, don`t answer with Dolores Umbridge or Joffrey Baratheon because we already know that these two are the most hated villains in fiction. Try to come up with original answers.

Here are some of my most hated villains:

Agatha Trunchbull from Matilda - While she is far from being the most evil character, she still manages to be my most hated character because of her behaviour. She bullies EVERYONE around her and she tortures kids for fun. I was really disappointed that she got off scott free.

Bayaz from The First Law trilogy - Almost every character in this series could classified as a villain or at least a huge asshole, even the main characters. However, Bayaz is the worst. He betrays literally everyone, he killed his own master and then blamed the Maker and started a war to acquire more power, he killed his lover and lied about her death, he established and maintains an oppressive system where the poor are oppressed and many people are tortured by the Inquisition, he started a war by killing the future heir and having an innocent guy tortured into confession, he disposed of his "friend" when he no longer needed him, he started a peasant revolt where thousands of people died be cause it serves his needs, he unleashed a plague on the city of Adua and he tortured one of the main characters and revealed to him that he is just the son of a whore to tormend him psychologically. He is also a giant hypocrite who constantly judges others for breaking the Two Laws but he himself has broken them as well. He encourages cannibalism among his followers and it is even implied that he himself is a cannibal. The reason why he is so hateable is because at first he appears like a decent guy and treats the main characters nicaly however in the end he shows his true colors. He is one of the most evil characters in fantasy and he deserves to be officialy proposed and approved as PE.

Arcturus Mengsk from Starcraft - A giant hypocrite and an oppressive, maniacal dictator. His tragic backstory is not enough to excuse his actions.

Shouldn't Dolores Umbridge be in the "spacegoat" category?!
