Note: This is not a proposal or anything similar to that, I am just explaining my thoughts.
Remember the show called Gotham? If so, you probably remember the Valeska twins, Jerome and Jeremiah, who are basically the show's two versions of the Joker.
Before we knew of Jeremiah's existence, Jerome was somewhat of Gotham's version of the Joker. He never really did become him (despite me calling him that) but he was very similar to most versions of the Joker. Heck, he even ended up looking a bit like him and he did end up using laughing gas. However, Jerome was killed off in the fourth season of the show and his brother Jeremiah (after getting sprayed in the face with some gas) pretty much ended up becoming the actual Joker... despite never going by the name, in the show at the very least.
Now, I can completely understand why Jerome qualifies as pure evil because he is. He has zero remorse for his actions, he has a clear moral agency, he also is very sadistic and he clearly cares only for himself. Jeremiah, however... also became pure evil. While I was okay with him being in the category at first... I am now sorta just questioning it.
Yeah, I mean, Jeremiah is about as bad (or maybe worse) than his brother, but... he didn't really seem to be doing anything evil until Jerome had gas sprayed in his face or whatever. Only after the gas was sprayed in his face, Jeremiah started performing some horrendous actions... so here is my question... did Jerome brainwash Jeremiah? Yeah, I would say so. Jeremiah was also clearly not always evil, given that he seemed to be doing okay things before he was brainwashed. I guess I could also say that he kinda counts to be a villain by proxy.
However, despite me saying this, I am not exactly sure. I sorta just have mixed feelings about him being approved to be pure evil. Yeah, Jerome definitely qualifies, but... Jeremiah? Ehhhh... what do you guys think?
With the upcoming Batman #89 and year of the villain #3 they will introduce us to punchline joker’s new henchgirl and girlfriend replacing Harley. She is described as the devil to harley’s angel by her creator and is just as evil as her boss joker and he doesn’t abuse her like what he does to Harley and the creator describes joker and punchline as a match made in hell. What are your guys thoughts on this?
Would you guys consider Arthur Fleck to be "highly intelligent"? I don't know about you guys, but I think it is very misleading to add "high intelligence" to the skills section. People have said that he "outsmarted his enemies", but in all honesty everytime he got away ( e.g from the three stockbrokers and the two detectives) relied more on luck rather than outsmarting. It already says I added "minor cunning" which I think should be enough for now as he has yet to be proven to be an evil genius like the mainstream Joker.
