Do you strictly need to have 500 edits in order to make a PE proposal? It’s just that I’ve wanted to make proposals for such characters on this wiki as Killer BOB and Dale Cooper’s doppelgänger from Twin Peaks, Marlo Stanfield from The Wire, Errol Childress from True Detective, and Brian Cox’s interpretation of Hannibal Lecktor in Manhunter. I know it isn’t allowed to ask others to make proposals for you, so I was just wondering do I strictly need to have 500 edits in order to make a proposal?
Hi all, I just thought as some food for thought, I’d list a few characters who qualify as Pure Evil, but are yet to receive a proposal.
Killer BOB from Twin Peaks is a sadistic demonic entity who thrives in raping, torturing and murdering as many people as he can, young girls included. He forces the otherwise decent Leland Palmer to rape and murder his daughter Laura, forces Leland to kill himself, traps Dale Cooper in the Black Lodge for 25 years and goes on a mass murdering rampage in Cooper’s place via his evil doppelgänger. He is easily one of the most evil PE villains who has yet to receive a proposal.
Also, Dr. Hannibal Lecktor (played by Brian Cox) from Manhunter Iacks any of the sympathetic or redeeming qualities of every other incarnation. Whereas the other versions had tragic backstories and sympathetic motivations, this Lecktor is merely a sadist with a God complex who tortured and murdered numerous college girls, and who delights in psychologically tormenting Will Graham and trying to break him. As Manhunter exists in a continuity separate of the other Hannibal Lecter adaptations, Brian Cox’s Lecktor does not have the Heinous Standards of Mason Verger or Vladis Grutas to compete with. I definitely think he should receive a PE proposal somewhere down the line.
I cannot make any proposals as I do not have enough edits and I am not whitelisted either. I just decided to put this out there as train for thought, in the hopes that both BOB and Manhunter Lecktor be proposed someday. Cheers.
