Prowler: So you’re the man responsible for all this ruckus, eh? Pathetic… at least Kingpin knows how to throw a punch.

Spot: Don’t you compare me to… [[Grunting]]

Prowler: Hey I remember you know, you’re the jerk who brought the spider from another dimension while messing an entire universe because of your actions? You know what’s worse…? You almost made me kill my nephew!!!!

Spot: No! Don’t you dare… [[Scream]] Get off me!! I am supposed to win!! None of you stupid brainless brutes are going to destroy my work ever again!!!

Prowler: Well to be fair I am not going to destroy your work… you are…

[[Prowler then throws Spot in the collider with a lot of Prowler’s meta bugs, thus killing Spot brutally]]

Wilson Fisk is one of Spider-Man's deadliest foes, a ruthlessly powerful crime lord known as the Kingpin of Crime, who runs a vast criminal empire within the New York underworld. Despite this potential, though, and the fact that Kingpin is so brilliantly performed in the live-action series Daredevil by Vincent D'Onofrio, Into the Spider-Verse decides to make Fisk a generic criminal with none of the complexity and contradictions that make him such a remarkable antagonist in other media. He's by no means entirely terrible, mainly because Into the Spider-Verse is such an astounding film, but even when he's causing some serious damage it's hard to overlook the fact that he isn't that interesting, and lacks compelling depth.
