One of the most common techniques for making the confrontation between hero and villain more profound is to get the latter to point out the similarities between them. Sometimes these remarks make sense, sometimes they are empty, but still - what is your favorite “You and I are not so different” remark?
My favorite would be "You are me" from Mahito to Itadori because:
A) Mahito is absolutely right when he points out that curses have the right to kill people because it's just their instinct (I don't care that Mahito is approved as a PE, to me he will always have issues with moral agency)
B) Itadori actually agrees with Mahi and thus this remark backfires strongly to our little pompous "nihilist".

Let's be real here: Mahito is one of the most hateable bastards in anime/manga history. The guy is a evil scumbag and yet, he manages to be one of the greatest villains. In your words, what makes him a great villain?
Reminder: No hate comments. This is just a friendly discussion. You're allowed to have an opinion, but make sure to keep it friendly.
