Zurg from Lightyear:
Man, Zurg is just an old Buzz Lightyear from another timeline, that’s a very old cliche, very poorly executed Disney.
Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish:
F*CK THIS SH*T I'M OUT!!!!

Welcome to my second "Does this villain even count as tragic anymore" post (The first is here if you want to check it out: Can Sweet Pete even qualify as Tragic anymore?)
Anyways Zurg is on the Tragic category because he just like the Normal Buzz Lightyear lost Izzy Hawthrone as she passed away, attempted to finish the mission (Just like Normal Buzz) but was apprehended by Burnside's forces due to disobeying orders and due to time dilation he found himself on an abandoned vessel where he would become delusional and corrupt with power. However, Zurg has done some very immoral things despite being an extremist. He sent his Zyclops to attack Burnside (as shown in the Message he sent to Izzy), focuses more about bringing everybody home than future lives, Killed his version of Sox when he helped the real Buzz escape plus he turns on him and even resorts to attempting to kill him and steal the Hyperspace fuel to get the job done. I can understand the AU Buzz lightyear and how he was treated as well as all he only wanted to do before he became the mechanically modified monster he is now ; he's an extremist but the fact that he is attempting Galactic domination, caring mostly about bringing the People's lives home instead of their futures (Really dark), Trying to kill Buzz to take his place and even forming a hateful grudge against him when he returns (As shown in the Post Credits scene) sounds downright awful ; However Just like Sweet Pete, Zurg was given a sympathetic story but he shunts it away to focus on his prime goal and not caring for those who could get hurt. What do you think?
This Year, Many villains have been accurately ranked based on their heinousness:
Dr Robotnik (Sonic films), Scarlet Witch and Sweet Pete are Inconsistently Heinouses.
Professor Marmalade, Mommy Long Legs and the Third Sister are villainous Benchmark.
Amber Freeman is a Near Pure Evil.
And Lewis Dodgson's film counterpart is being proposed for Pure Evil. If there are any other villains from 2022 I've missed out please let me know.
Also How would Zurg (Lightyear) be considered ?
