Of course, Keanu Reeves was also amazing as Shadow, and this is the most game-accurate version of Tails.

I mean, of course, for whole series it has a bigger satisfaction factor when they are defeated like my two absolute favorite MVD's, Palpatine and Voldemort, and Sauron not far behind them. Same with Naraku as my fourth favorite anime MVD.

Keep this one, delete the other one, I voted for the wrong one on that one and you can't change votes which I think you should be able to since I've often heard people misclicked.

I find it more fun with a different main villain each time, to get a glorious defeat at the end and then a new one come along.

How about a dragon like in Beast Wars Season 3?

For Sombra, that's only if you go by the comics, which are confirmed non-canon, in-universe they were written by Spike so he made up all their events. Sombra has no canonical backstory from before taking over the Crystal Empire. He is pure evil which is why the magic of friendship destroyed him, which it did not, or could not, do to Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow, whose moment keeping them from being pure evil was nearly becoming friends with each other.

The Storm King might be comical and goofy, but arguably that makes him even darker that he displays this attitude while attempting to kill Tempest and Twilight, the former simply for outliving her usefulness rather than holding up his end of the bargain. While it is very likely that no one other than the Storm King and Storm Creatures died in Canterlot that day (and he basically killed his own men to show off his power and either block off or try to kill the ponies), all this still stands. Despite his goofy nature, he was feared by Queen Novo (possibly killed her husband) to the point she didn't want to help the ponies defend their land from him, and Silverstream, who is normally lighthearted and energetic, feared him even after his death.

Whatever cases you can make for Chrysalis, Tirek, or Cozy Glow, Sombra and the Storm King are the most irredeemably evil villains in the whole series. Sombra beats out the Storm King as he is more sadistic and uses fear on his opponents, he seems to like making them suffer more than the Storm King who would just kill them quickly.

I know, I was just saying my favorite pure evil villains. Also, how are Jafar, Maleficent, Sombra, and the Storm King not pure evil? (I didn't say Sephiroth, he is my favorite villain of all time but he wasn't classified as Pure Evil)

Good to see The Black Cauldron and Inuyasha get some recognition.

The Horned King and Naraku are up there for sure. And Jafar and Maleficent. Frieza, Cell, Buu, and the three Dark Lords as well, and also King Sombra and the Storm King from MLP: FiM. If Chrysalis counts as pure evil despite the ability to feel friendship (which she quickly and permanently rejects) her as well. Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom as well. And Bill Cipher, and also Zhan Tiri from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. And the Emperor from Final Fantasy II.

What about Tim Curry's Pennywise? He almost always plays a compelling villain. (I say almost because Darkness in Legend)

Jared Leto Joker, probably. Tough call coz I love clown villains. Jack Nicholson's Joker, Dimentio, Piedmon, Rascal, Nogo, Kefka, Zorn and Thorn, Pennywise... but that Joker didn't do much for me.

By extension, maybe Mike Matei's Joker, he was pretty annoying. (I'm guessing he was supposed to be)

At least Cassandra Nova got a spectacular MCU quality death scene (despite this being more a Deadpool film, but it is counted among MCU). And she was a big threat. Paradox was kinda fun to have around too. Both threatened to destroy the entire X-Men universe (and all reality, in Cassandra's case, that's Bleck/Dimentio level)

Best HTTYD villain

He is brought up a lot, but he was barely involved in the second and third films if I recall. By the fourth film he has accepted his place in the afterlife and had no interest in continuing his evil plans but was defeated by the Chameleon, and after her defeat he comes to respect Po, maybe fully reforms, and finishes off the Chameleon taking her into the Spirit Realm with him.

Shen is the one who had the larger impact on Po in the past. Even though he too became a victim of the Chameleon after death.

Better Way to Be Bad was a good song and retrieving the bell, it was fun seeing them go on their own adventure, but my vote has to go to the final battle with the Mane 6. The initial phase was pretty fun, then it turns into an Endgame reference, fitting since I waited 7 years for both Chrysalis and Thanos's final defeats. It did take away from the climactic ending that the big rainbow blast wasn't what turned them to stone, just took Grogar's power away, I guess that was so they could get executed just like Thanos, but less graphic.
