I remember before this franchise came out on American soil, my brother and I got this really rare tape that had the mother of the kid that voiced Ash Ketchum explain Pokémon in her dining room, or whatever, that had all this merchandise all over the table, the counters, everywhere. I guess since she’s his mother she can get anything off them easy. Still, this was almost a year in advance, so when the show and card game did come out, I was remember being mesmerized. I got obsessed with the Ghost Pokémon, particularly Gengar. Why couldn’t Ash get him? I mean Haunter wasn’t bad either, but why didn’t they let Ash keep him along with Pigeoto, Pikachu, Muk, and all the others?
Hans, by a WIDE margin.
“Consus, the Erudite God”, huh? How edifying.
You ever seen Saw 3D, the first one, Jigsaw, Spiral from the Book of Saw, or Saw IV and VI? I admit, a lot of the franchise seemed more focused on dissenting opinion, but clearly all evidence to the contrary, com padre.
I don’t think he’s a true villain. Wanting genocide for humans is just as bad as vice versa, but the humans who wish death on all mutants do so entirely out blind prejudice and egocentrism, Erik Lenshir just wants his fellow mutants to be safe and live happy lives. But due to his experiences in Nazi Germany, as well mutant-hating humans in general, he knows no other way to make that possible. He sees his “brothers and sisters” getting dragged out of their homes by angry human mobs while they were engaging in everyday activities like dinner or family fun night, and he just can’t see how going up to them and trying to talk it out is going to do any good.
Mmmhmm. And because of my “disturbing moral stances”, I both most emphatically and most passionately disagree. John was for sure a sadist, he was most definitely a serial killer, a mass murderer, a domestic terrorist, and a cult leader. But his murder methods, and I do not deny them to be so, did what he said they would do: he taught the ones who survived his traps to survive their hang ups, and move on with their lives. The only mistake he made was trusting the mentally unhinged Detective Lieutenant Mark Hoffman. He was straight up evil, he deserves to be on this site. He screwed up the formula, and perverted the overall message. A lot of those people could’ve made it out of their tests better people. That guy with the chains all over him, the profiler in the Angel Trap, amongst others, they could’ve been on the news, and in the group meeting in Saw 3D, along with the rest of them telling everyone that he helped them. Don’t take my word for it, it was them. The people John Kramer trapped were utter scum bags, but those who pulled through turned it all around. So, yeah. I don’t see him as a villain. That’s my say, and I hold it firm. You’ll either agree with it, or you won’t.
“A true classic never goes out of style. You told me that once, after stabbing a man thirty nine times”- Jennifer Tilly to Fiona Dourif in The Cult of Chucky.
I’m conflicted
I don't know about Magneto. I always saw him as Malcom X to Professor X's Dr Martin Luther King Jr
Oh no, actually you didn't. I just thought I did! I do that even though I don't mean to. But you see? That's what I'm trying explain here! In this website, as well as others such as Villainous Beauties, Female Villains (formerly known as Evil Babes), etcetera, have those who are downright evil, or those who do not intentionally commit evil actions, or are unaware of what they're doing is an act (or are actions) of evil, who either are too starving for positive relationships and environments to know the difference, or that their good intentions ironically blind them from what they're really doing. Like some examples are the one we're talking about in particular, John Doe, Frankenstein's Monster and Captain John Walton from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Jacob Goodnight from See No Evil 1 and 2, May Dove Cannady from May, Carrie White from (you guessed it) Carrie, Jon Kramer from the Saw Film Franchise (who I believe should be on Heroes Wiki, just saying), Jo Flay from You Killed My Mother, Madeline Madrigal aka Ma Ma from Dredd, Cassie Larson/Jennifer Smith from Friends Who Kill, Dr Victor Fries aka Mr Freeze, Jen Russell/Alexa Dodge from Evil Nanny, Susan/Caren from The Stepfather. People who didn't choose any of it, people who just got backed up into a corner with no room to squeeze out of. There are such things. Everyone on here is a villain, but not all of them are evil.
I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to start an argument, I just thought we were having a nice conversation between two likeminded individuals. Intellectual debates are something of a hobby of mine. I thought that's what were doing. Sorry, if I offended you just now. I'm autistic amongst other things, so social interaction isn't exactly my forte.
Well, how's that any different from what I just said?
Okay, but just for the sake of constructive criticism, I thought he embodied the sin of Envy. Although they do say that while Vanity (and I also think that vanity and pride are also two totally different things) is the root of all sins, but Envy is the root of Vanity. Is that what you mean?
SleepingGuy I agree with your perspective as to why you think that. On that level you're totally correct, but while still technically a "villain", what with him being a serial killer, and the way he killed those people, I still believe at the end of the day that he kinda did have a point, and I wouldn't consider him evil. He was most certainly a villain, there's no way around that, and again you're 100% correct on that regard. Don't take this wrong! I just think that some of the people on here may be villains, but being a villain and being evil overlap. Their not inherently in the same thing. You know, like a vin diagram?
I know he's not on this list, but I think that Death Note's Light Yagami is arguably the biggest hypocrite on this website, AND ultimately the most pathetic. But that's just me talking.
How come it won’t let me vote?
Totally! Darth Maul just looks freakier cuz of the face and horns, and the double bladed lightsaber, but he hardly did anything in the whole franchise.
Thatd be the one
The Pro-Wrestler or the PokeMon Staryu
Oh thats okay, so am i!
