Now, I’m not blaming them for having springlocked William Afton. Considering that he is, well, WILLIAM AFTON.
The thing is, they want vengeance against William for having murdered them and having stuffed them inside of the animatronic suits, which is very understandable, and then they do what he did to them to people who didn’t deserve it. Sure, they may have mistaken Phone Guy for William. But clearly they did this repeatedly, since they did it to phone guy, then tried to do it to you, then got to do it to William himself finally. Also, we don’t know if they actually really cared that they got the wrong guy and I don’t get the impression that they actually did care. They also clearly still see themselves as in the right when it comes to this situation.
I’m not saying that their hypocrisy isn’t understandable, but hypocrisy is hypocrisy.
Am I alone in this opinion?
