Agreed. He was cold-hearted and refused to love, out of all people, his own son Eddie, who eventually became bonded to Venom. Not to mention, he had the unmitigated gall to give Eddie half-hearted encouragements, be it either doing well on his grades and choosing a career path, and even physically abused his son. And in conclusion, he disowned him after Eddie was terminated from his position after Spider-Man brought in the real Sin-Eater, and the one Eddie brought in was nothing more than a compulsive confessor.
