Even though he has never been shown, I wonder whether Molson Verger should get a villain profile. Molson Verger is the father of Mason and Margot Verger from Thomas Harris' 1999 novel Hannibal, and it's subsequent 2001 film adaption of the same name. By the present in both the film and the book, Molson is already dead (his will serving as a major driving force with the plot), but he still has significant impact on the plot posthumously, including but not limited to:
1. Disowned his daughter due to her being a lesbian and writing her out of the will, forcing her to rely on her brother if she wants to ever see a penny, despite the fact that he is horrendously abusive and she rightly hates him as a result, and also forcing her and her partner to rely on him to eventually donate sperm for them in order to have a child (a promise he never fulfils).
2. Condoned (and possibly even encouraged) Mason's sadistic and perverse behavior, which includes horrendous deeds such as sexually abusing Margot and the children in the Verger orphanage and summer camp (including flavoring his martinis with the tears of children and Margot), as well as torturing a Christian missionary with dictator Idi Amin.
With the 2 examples above, Molson has significant, albeit posthumous impact on the story, as when Mason finally gets arrested for his actions, he uses his political and financial ties to be put in community service and therapy, where he meets Dr. Hannibal Lecter, which drives the "prologue" of the story (regarding Mason at least).
Albeit he is never stated whether he has done anything criminal specifically, I feel it is heavily implied through different variations of media that he had tremendous impact on molding his son into the monster he became in the present day, thereby making him the posthumous overarching antagonist of Hannibal, its film adaption, and the 2nd half of season 2 and 1st half of season 3 of the NBC series Hannibal.
