Venom gave us emo Peter and I will always be thankful for that. Besides that, I think Eddie could have been introduced in this movie but Venom should have been saved for a sequel. Topher Grace is good in his role and I wish he had more screen time as a villain, because he only fights Peter in one scene when both Sandman and Harry get several fights and he has my favourite powers of the 3. He was okay but Venom is one of if not the best Spider-Man villains and had so much potential which Spider-Man 3 Venom didn't live up to. I like the scene where Eddie goes to church to directly ask God to kill Peter Parker.
