@KKisnotreal I feel like agreeing with you. As much as I enjoyed Invincible and the Viltrumites, I found their redemption to feel somewhat forced. Omni-Man's redemption was great despite his horrible crimes because he was given a lot of characterization. The Viltrumites are only a species, so each individual member isn't heavily characterized, making their redemption feel forced in my face. An example would be Anissa's rape, even though it is used as an example as to how the Viltrumites need a leader.
He means villains that are close to qualifying into a psychopath, but fail most likely by having too many redeeming qualities.
His awakened form looked the most coolest because it showcased the most of his combative abilities.

An example of an affable villain that I enjoy is Walter White. He started off pretty affable, but he clearly became faux affably evil during moments people insult his ego. I think the moment he truly become faux affable are his passive-aggressive response to Hank's unintentional insult in Breaking Bad Season 4.
Tighten was also somewhat affable with his relationship with Megamind, until the former ended up being betrayed and became way worse.

I kind of want this guy to be a debased villain, but not in a twist way. At the start of the story, he is antagonistic, but you can sympathize with him. As the story goes on, he starts to become more depraved in the pursuit of magic that he becomes unrecognizable.
Unpredictable villains that occasionally do good deeds sounds threatening and comforting.
To continue being polite even after you have your evil nature be revealed feels more comforting. Also, Faux Affably Evil is when a character continues to be falsely polite even after their true nature is revealed. A bitch in sheep's clothing has a character become a rude jerk when their true nature is revealed. They can still be the same, as they are sub-categories.
