Jangles the Clown (or simply Jangles) is a minor antagonist in the Max Universe Future Series of Kuromisuniverse2023. He is one of Sinister Envy's darkest fears.
As a twisted figment of Sinister Envy's encounter with clowns, Jangles is a giant clown with blue hair, a white face with a creepy smile, a large red nose, and bright green eyes. He is dressed in a red top and blue polka-dot pants with big floppy shoes and carries a huge hammer. His authentic self, however, is a normal-sized clown with normal eyes, though that did not change how Sinister Envy saw him.

Lucius' Dr. Sunday disguise in kuromi no 007/2 with Papa (badtz Maru) Enrique and Mr. Bat
His Japanese name is based on the word lose, which references the many times Hangyodon and his friends manage to ruin his schemesLucius shares some similarites to Papa (Badtz-Maru), in that both characters operate a gang in which the members happen to also wear hats and be made up of penguins. It's never said if Lucius' gang has links to Papa's.
His disguise as Dr. Sunday in Hangyodon no 007/2: Doctor Sunday Arawaru no Maki made several cameo appearances in various Sanrio OVAs like Sam to Chip no wa Hachamecha Dai Race.

Lucius the Phantom Thief (ルーズ, Ruze) is a male character created by Hisato Inoue and belonging to the kuromi's Universe. He is the main antagonist of the Hangyodon-centric OVAs and the leader of the Silk Hat Penguins gang.
Lucius is also known by Hangyodon and his friends as a greedy thief, which on one opportunity in kuromi no Parallel Daisakusen: Kyouryuu Oukoku wa Oosawagi was used against him as a distraction. He's shown to have a crush on Light blue yoshi as well her descendants and ancestors.
While he is usually an antagonist, he was chosen as one of the seven heroes to help save the future in kuromi no Parallel Daisakusen: Mirai Sekai wa Oosawagi along with kuromi and friends.

Lucius has the power to shapeshift between a wolf and a rabbit, but has also been shown transforming into a giant scorpion-like monster in the climax of Kero Kero Keroppi's Three Musketeers. Although his transformation powers have been shown to be voluntary, his Edo period ancestor in Hangyodon's Great Parallel Plan: Flowery Edo in an Uproar experiences involuntary shapeshifting into his Full-Moon Kozou identity when he sees a round yellow object that resembles a full moon.
The Phantom Thief has a lesser known ability to make himself invisible, which was shown in Great Detective Hangyodon: Lucius the Phantom Thief Appears.
Lucius seems to be an anime exclusive character, as there hasn't been any merch or print media featuring him released, although merchandise featuring his rabbit form has been made as part of the Hangyodon 007/2 line.
