How is Zero the main antagonist of the Kirby franchise when he/it only appeared in one game? (or two games if you think that Zero and Zero2 are the same character)

Totk's Ganon/Ganondorf, unlike the original version, who actually has some cool lore as being a reincarnation of Demise's hatred, this was absent in the game for some reason, and it just butchered him into a generic anime villain with a few personality traits, and his "Demon King" form lacks the boar aspects and is just Demise's but overdesigned.
Overall he is a very forgotten character in the game due to it being a open-world one, and even Colgera is far more memorable to me, sorry if my reasons aren't valid.

Shen obviously, because of his genocide, Stella is just like him except she is more bog-standard and just gets randomly worse every time she appears on-screen
I dislike villains who are either bland, one dimensional, redeemed, have unnecessary tragic backstories as an excuse, Hate Sink characters with no charming moments, or have forced sympathetic features, with examples such as Valentino from Hazbin Hotel, the Blight Ganons from Breath of the Wild, and Niles from SMG4.
