Stryfe (Marvel)
Good enough. And that’s why the likes of Darkseid from DC’s a standout.
Yeah, I can see why. Being pure evil means that you have no chance for redemption and you’re just a remorseless, cruel and selfish person. But if you dislike people or things that promote evil, then that kind of damages your credibility as a villain.
Yeah, I guess. Joker’s quite an example of that. He’s a terrorist and a serial killer and he’s purely evil. And he’s one of the greatest villains in all of fiction.
Yeah, practically, but there’s always levels when it comes to being heinous. If you’re a standard street thug and robber that steals things and kills people, then that’s just regular evil, but if you’re a standard commit massive crimes like genocides, tyranny, mass murder, and even higher ones like world domination, universal domination, or higher, then you’re cemented as purely evil. Like, Rhino from Marvel is just a regular crook, but powerful enough to beat Mutants, Aliens, and Demons. While Darkseid from DC’s purely evil, since he’s a tyrannical dictator and warlord, he attempted so many times to enslave planets or destroy them, and commit genocides.
Basic answer, but ok. I was referring to how powerful he is to destroy something. Like, is he powerful enough to destroy buildings, mountains, planets, moons, or what?
