I've heard that Pure Evil villains are only fictional because real life villains have some nice traits and redeeming qualities even if remote. However, I completely disagree with this because we have completely unsympathetic, irredeemable and hideous people (e.g. Albert Fisher).
And you? Which real-life villains think they have PE status or believe there are no real PE villains in real life, explain your points.
When I read CC i didnt know she was using Albus and Scorpius. And then once she became evil, I hate her
And I also liked how ron described her
"Al got a girlfriend, an Older girlfriend actually, my love potion is working"
LOL
I've seen this quite a few time but the only examples I can name off the top of my head are Griffith and Palpatine. Can a PE villain have somewhat agreeable motives or is this audience wrong for agreeing with these motives?
I has read about SCP-5000 why? i also found all O5 Council member and all MTF get killed with brutally by GRU Division "P" they corpse throw to the river and multiple shoot to the corpse of all O5 Council member and all MTF shoot by GRU Division "P" as revenge for cause humanity destroy by them.
I watch many anime on MHA i found many Villains was formely heroes also Villains formely pro heroes i ever watch many Villains formely heroes try achieve they purpose for good but then stopped by deku and his friends cause the Villains formely heroes become suffering and Torture by them that is the most hated i see if i meet deku and his friends i Will crush they body with brutally like mortal kombat.
Basically a villain who when introduced wasn't originally written as pure evil. I guess the Joker a good one. When first written. He was merely a prankster of sorts and not a deranged serial killer. Or another good example Light Yagami.
I been thinking lately it would be intresting if Lego Ninjago. Brought back Pythor at some point in the stpry and made him into a pure evil type villain?
So it got me thinking what villains when first created were not originally pure evil?
I put this on general discussion instead of pure evil discussion. My bad. First time doing this.
So I have a character from the Haunting Hour. Lilly D is doll created with a soul wich is common in this universe. Except s
Her soul according to the creator was evil despite all other dolls being good. She is later given by a spoil brat girl name Lilly. Who won her froma contest. Lilly actually give Lilly D love as the episode goes on. But its not enough for her.
As time goes on. She destroys multiple items of the familes and frames it on Lilly. Lilly soon get ill after the mom wishes that Lilly D would be her real daughter.
Lilly's brother Brandon and his friend Josh later learn of Lilly D's true nature. Once He returns home for dinner. Lilly is completely different now being more kinder to the family and helping around the house. As it turns out it's Lilly D now human and Lilly is now the day. Lilly D then throws away the now doll Lilly in the dumpster planing for her to basically be killed at that point. Brandon realized the doll has the Lilly's birthmark and shows their mother. Once Lilly D sees this she runs and Josh shows up and chances her. After the mother discovers that she almost threw out her own daughter. She apologizes and Lilly becomes human again. Lilly D is turn back into a doll and is run over.
Now here we got to the episode Return of Lilly D. Here we truly see the Lilly D is truly Pure Evil. The next girl who founds her is literally a Saint as they come. She found Lilly D and cleans her up. Said girl name is Natalie as I said the girl is very sweet as she leaves with her wheelchair grandfather cooks for him as well and even takes care of a injured bird. Completely different then Lilly. The doll is sent back to the company where she was created. When the Doll Maker sees her, she is initially frightened by Lilly D but relents when she finds a softer presence within the doll and has her fixed. She redelivers the doll to Natalie, who the doll maker see's as a good influence on Lilly D. The Doll Maker tells Natalie and her grandfather about the dolls having souls (which Natalie's grandfather finds crazy). The other dolls warn the Doll Maker that Lilly D is still evil and that Natalie is in danger. The Doll Maker attempts to steal Lilly D back but the doll drops a fish bowl on her head, but it doesn't kill her. As the other dolls foreshadowed, Lilly D beginsto show darker traits shortly after the Doll Maker's attack. Natalie finds a wounded baby bird and tries nursing it back to health but Lilly D shows extreme jealousy and late at night tries to abduct and drown the baby bird but is stopped when Natalie wakes up and Lilly D's secret is revealed. While Natalie's grandfather was in his wheel chair, Lilly D stalks him through the dark halls and knocks him off the wheel chair. Natalie briefly rushes to her grandfather's aid before confronting Lilly D in the kitchen. The doll attempts to stab Natalie with a knife but is disarmed and decapitated by Natalie using a frying pan.
Basically I found she counts as Pure Evil is the fact that we are told every doll has a soul. But they are usually good. Lilly D stands out. Unlike most Haunting Hour villains, noting tragic happen to her to make her evil. Well most protagonists of this show are usually bullies or jerks. That could be said for the first episode with Lilly. But the second episode Natalie is as showing is noting but kind to everyone, even to D. The fact that she tries to kill both owners and take over their lives. Really says something about her. The fact that her ideal of getting Natalie to pay attention to her is to go and murder things that Natalie deeply cares about and then decided that she's not worth it and tries to murder her as well. Shows she's completely Pure Evil. What do you guys think.
So I finally got around to reading this piece of literature by the great Steinbeck. And wow...what a book. This may have replaced The Great Gatsby as my favorite novel of all time. Anyway, I think one of the main reasons I love this book is because it introduces the reader to perhaps the most vile, hateable villain I have ever been introduced to in my life - Cathy Ames. Wow. What a piece of work. What a piece of work. I don't want to get into spoilers, as I think everyone should read this masterpiece. But I had to give at least some shoutout to a character that affected me this emotionally.
If we take Vader, is he officially a tragic villain for everyone because of a specific definition, or it’s more a sort of general title that can be interpreted differently by someone’s else opinion ??? I never really understood if it was a official title or a general one to not be taken seriously, that can change depending on your own definition ?
I've heard that before there was "Pure Evil," there was "Complete Monster." That being said, I wonder what's the significant difference between the two tropes? Is there really a difference, other than name? I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on the subject.
Or if a PG hero destroys/kills a PE villain

Could someone tell me every types of villains you know ? Or at lest the most popular ones pls ? I tried to find on this wiki, but I usually found a lot of different types with only exemples, not definitions... I know the tragic villains, anti-villains and the PE. If you know any other, I would be thankful if you could put them there ! Thanks
