~ Exodus 33:22, seen at the start of the film |
God, or the Portrait of God is the antagonist of the short film "Portrait of God". It is an entity of unknown intent claiming to be God that manifests itself to a select few people who look at its painting.
It is shown to hold a great amount of power - being capable of altering reality around it as well as opening its jaw to project a bright beam of light (God?) that causes the protagonist of the film to be completely entranced.
Appearance[]
The entity is presented as being nothing like most interpretations of God. It is an extremely slender, alien-like humanoid sporting a large, inhuman grin with two large and dark eyes.
It is described by audio recordings in the film as being very unnerving and frightening to look at. However, one man calls it 'beautiful'.
