Mr. Johnson, or simply Johnson, is the main antagonist of the elderly shark channel.
He is based on another character called Judge Holden. Although his actions take place in the mid 18th century (Texas) while in Blood Meridian in the mid 19th century
Personality[]
Mr. Johnson is a friendly man who communicates well with his white partners and his employer, possessing excellent manners. Despite this, he treats every Negro slave terribly and sadistically. Killing them is not just a job for him, but a pleasure. For all the issues, he killed more than 600 of them in the most brutal ways. For Example: He Tortured A Group Of Slaves For 7 Hours And Shot 500 Aborigines Using A Gatling Gun
Appearance[]
Mr. Johnson Looks Like An Ordinary Average American White Man From Texas. He smiles A lot and stays calm most of the time. He Is Wearing A White Hat, A Denim Jacket With White Fur And A Red And Black Checked Shirt . He Is Also Completely Bald.
History[]
In Episode 1, we see Mr. Johnson and an old man called "Sir". He tells him that "Native Americans are well camouflaged among the bushes and trees, making them invisible; thus, many consider it incredible luck to encounter local natives." Mr. Johnson exclaims he's "damn right" and fires his revolver into a bush, where a native falls out holding his heart. He also says he shot 500 men with a Gatling gun by himself. Later, they're laughing together; Sir remarks that Mr. Johnson is lucky in everything—(+ 501 kills). At the end of the episode, we see Mr. Johnson turn to the camera with a big yellow sign on top that says, "Oh, that Mr. Johnson ". Link
In Episode 2, Mr. Johnson learns Sir's friend from Russia is coming soon—"Nei Begrov". He asks for instructions; Mr. Johnson confidently replies, of course, Sir. Later in the episode, it's clear that he mixed up "N" with "B", and without mercy gave 400 blows to a slave on the head (+1 murder). They laugh again at the end. The camera turns to show Mr. Johnson with another big yellow sign: "Oh, that Mr. Johnson " Link
In Episode 3, Sir challenges Mr. Johnson to shoot five eggplants with two bullets; he's confused and goes outside. Screams are heard, followed by gunshots. He returns and shoots the eggplants inside (+5 murders). His face is bloodied as he claims to have shot them in the street instead. The episode ends with a big yellow sign: "Oh, that Mr. Johnson , Watch Only On Rulet.TV ".Link
In Episode 4, Sir tells Jamal about Jamal's baby.; Mr. Johnson carries him but then drops and laughs, saying he died during birth. No additional deaths in this episode.Link
In Episode 5, tasked with blowing up 700kg of explosives and sending 50 slaves to go digging for gold , after we hear the nightmarish screams of a mob in the street , Mr. Johnson accidentally blows up the 700kg of people (+11 murders—assuming each slave is about 63kg on average) and sends the bombs instead. Everyone laughs , and sir commends Mr. Johnson for a job well done. . Link
In Episode 6, an elderly woman asks if he's a cop; he lies and says yes. She shows her black child stuck in a tree; Johnson tasers him, then he falls out of the tree and dies in agony (+1 murder). Link
In Episode 7, we see Mr. Johnson and Mr. Franklin. Johnson tells Franklin to go shoot whale poop, he happily agrees. At the end we see that Franklin realizes that there are no whales in Texas. Johnson smiles and says “I KNOW.” Then they laugh and Johnson takes off his hat and smiles broadly. (Considering that Mr. Johnson fired about 10 shots, we can assume that he killed 10 people.) The frame changes to Judge Holden's face to the music of Dark red and the words “he'll never die”.Link
In Episode 8 Sir Comes and says that the most famous cotton plantation owner is coming soon and that he must be surprised And Johnson Says he knows what to do. Later, he trains a turtle to beat up Negroes and makes an example of him. Link
In Episode 9, Sir tells Mr. Johnson that a new shipment of slaves and watermelons will be arriving soon and asks him to unload them. Later, Mr. Johnson says he can't unload the watermelons with a pitchfork. (Although he could have made the slaves unload them with pitchforks, he apparently decided to stabbe all the slaves without letting a single one out alive) (considering that the largest wagons of the 18th - 19th century could hold up to 10 people, Mr. Johnson killed 10 people (implied)).
Mr. Johnson did not receive a single scratch or punishment for all the appalling crimes he committed—an evident indicator of his immortality and masterful manipulation skills. He possesses both excellent hearing and vision: killing an indigenous person in dense foliage with a revolver at a considerable distance, hitting the mark with just one shot without aiming. Furthermore, he has superhuman strength— dragging and firing from a 80-kilogram Gatling machine gun, managing to kill 500 people. By the end of the seventh series, it is suggested that Mr. Johnson either follows in Judge Holden's footsteps or actually is him—a fact which at least implies his immortality and evasion of justice.
Since the exact number of victims killed by Mr. Johnson remains unknown, one can only estimate it to be no less than 600.
Despite such extraordinary abilities as super strength or immortality, Mr. Johnson employs these for evil purposes.
Consequently, Mr. Johnson continues his criminal activities behind the scenes.
CHARACTER : Johnson's character is cold-blooded and calm. He doesn't give a damn about all the murders he's committed. He is so brutal that he killed a slave with 400 blows to the head, killed a child by dropping him from a tree, stabbed 10 men with pitchforks, shot 500, and so on ...... . Apparently Johnson only treats Negro slaves that way, not his white partners.
