The 01 Ambassador is a supporting antagonist of the short film The Second Renaissance, from the animated science-fiction anthology film The Animatrix.
It was the Ambassador of the land of the Machines that forced the United Nations to sign their surrender at the end of the war, giving the Machines total domination over the remaining humans.
It was voiced by Dane Davis.
History[]
After the humans were conquered by the Machines, the 01 Ambassador was sent to the United Nations to talk to the last of the human race. He discusses to them they should live in a better world than the Earth so his kind can bring the rest of the humans to the Matrix. The Ambassador was armed with an explosive bomb that was made to explode after his speech. He exploded after he convinced the humans.
Personality[]
The Ambassador is an emotionless and dispassionate Machine, but uses an authentic speech to convince the humans to be part of the Matrix.
