“ | ... And there came into this world a great darkness. A being of pure hatred with the name of One-by-One-by-One-by-One, or, in later ages, simply The Adversary. 1x1x1x1 is an entity from the fourth dimension who loathes Robloxia for it's 3D-ness and has vowed to destroy it. 1x1x1x1 was imprisoned by Two-by-Two at the dawn of time, yet there are those who seek to free him... | „ |
~ The Necrobloxicon's old description, explaining the origins of 1x1x1x1. |
1x1x1x1 (pronounced as one-by-one-by-one-by-one, but also referred to by alternative pronunciations) is the main antagonist of the massively multiplayer online game platform Roblox.
Originally a simple test account created by Roblox administrator, Shedletsky, what started as an innocent story quickly spiraled into one of the platform's most infamous legends after Shedletsky jokingly portrayed him as an evil character. This fueled speculation, with many believing he was a real hacker or the leader of an exploiter group. Although Roblox eventually debunked these claims, the rumors persisted. Some players still believe he’s out there, especially when glitches or updates reignite old fears. Roblox, recognizing his lasting popularity, has since referenced him in official events and media, cementing him as an iconic part of the platform’s history.
Over time, 1x1x1x1's story evolved. He evolved from a supposed hacker into something far more sinister. In his lore, he is depicted as an ancient, malevolent entity originating from the fourth dimension, a place beyond normal reality. Fueled by hatred toward the third dimension, he seeks to bring about Roblox’s destruction for his own cruel satisfaction. This dark backstory transformed him from a rogue character into a symbol of fear and chaos within the Roblox community, inspiring countless player-driven theories.
Years after the rumors began, 1x1x1x1 started making subtle appearances in modern Roblox events, often hidden in ways only the most observant players could find. These sightings built suspense and unease, leading to his emergence as a full-fledged antagonist in major events like The Classic and The Games. By then, he was no longer just a hacker, he was a powerful, unstoppable force of corruption, leaving players wondering if he was a villain or something far worse.
Appearance[]
In his current and well-known appearance, 1x1x1x1 has a transparent green and skeletal body, red eyes and a zip for a mouth. His head and limbs are pitch black and he also wears a green domino crown. In his most recent appearance at The Games event, he additionally wears the Glitch Hacker Laurel around his crown and wears a red cape over his right shoulder.
However, the appearance of 1x1x1x1's original accounts looked nothing like its current version. The first version of 1x1x1x1 had the appearance of a normal Robloxian with blue pants, a green shirt, and a round-shaped head with a standart smile on its face. The second one had blue pants, a red shirt, and a regular head with a standart smile as well. The accounts have undergone minor changes over the years, but have mostly remained the same. The appearance of 1x1x1x1's original accounts can be found here.
1x1x1x1 has also been seen to possess some form of equipment, most often a weapon. Most notably, he is often depicted wielding a sword. In his most recent appearance at The Games event, he was wielding a ban hammer and wearing a red cape over his right shoulder.
Personality[]
1x1x1x1's characterization is defined by an air of mystery. Originally, the character was part of a test account created by Roblox but quickly became the subject of countless rumors. People believed he was a powerful hacker, leading to a "legendary villain" status within the community. This elusive nature made him more of a symbol than an actual character, a figure players feared but also admired. The community often depicted 1x1x1x1 as chaotic and unpredictable. He represented a force that challenged the game’s structure, like an anti-hero or a trickster. This aligns with the “hacker” archetype, embodying rebellion against authority. Though not an official villain, his persona evoked the idea of an unstoppable, rogue entity that couldn’t be controlled.
Even within the rumors, 1x1x1x1 was rarely portrayed as a mindless villain. He’s often seen as an intelligent, calculated presence, manipulating the game behind the scenes. This is similar to how other legendary internet personas (like Herobrine from Minecraft) are depicted, more like a mastermind than a brute-force attacker. What’s interesting about 1x1x1x1 is that his personality wasn’t crafted by Roblox developers, it was shaped by the community. Because of this, his personality and characteristics can vary significantly depending on the game he appears in. For example, in one game, he may be portrayed as more strategic and talkative, while in another, he may appear silent and purely destructive. This flexibility sometimes gives him an unintentionally narcissistic edge, as though he revels in the chaos he causes. Regardless, the community's imagination has evolved him into a villainous, shadowy figure, with a presence akin to a digital boogeyman.
Despite the differences in how he is portrayed across games, one trait remains consistent: his motivation, which can be summarized up in a single word; hatred. In every appearance, 1x1x1x1 is shown causing destruction wherever he goes, terrorizing those around him, and treating the game's systems like toys; twisting, breaking, and turning them upside down for no reason other than pure malice. His hatred extends beyond Roblox itself; he is often portrayed as a deep loathing for the third dimension as a whole. Some believe he targets not just the platform, but the very concept of 3D in existence to preserve his own cruel satisfaction. He is obsessed with destroying everything three-dimensional and is willing to go to any length to achieve that goal.
Biography[]
Rumors[]
The mysterious figure known as 1x1x1x1 has long been a subject of speculation and intrigue within the Roblox community. In one of Shedletsky's fictional stories exploring Roblox's origins, 1x1x1x1 was introduced as a malevolent entity, referred to ominously as an “evil 1x1x1x1 part", being used to prey on users' fear. This portrayal sparked fear among players and eventually fueled persistent rumors that 1x1x1x1 was a real-life hacker or the leader of an exploiting group.
However, according to former Roblox administrator MrDoomBringer, 1x1x1x1 was never a hacker. Instead, the character originated as a fictional element from one of Shedletsky’s creative backstories, intended purely for storytelling purposes. Over time, the lines between fiction and perceived reality blurred, solidifying 1x1x1x1’s place in Roblox community.
Background[]
Before its description was changed, the Necrobloxicon claimed that 1x1x1x1 came to our world from the fourth dimension, driven by hatred for Roblox’s inherently "3D" nature. His personal goal was to destroy the platform for his own twisted satisfaction and leave nothing behind. At the so-called "dawn of time," a heroic figure by the name of Two-by-Two, also referred to as the Alpha Brick, imprisoned 1x1x1x1 to end his chaos and restore peace to Roblox.
Interestingly, the Necrobloxicon also suggested that many still sought to release 1x1x1x1, implying a cult-like fascination with the character. Over the years, he appears to have escaped his imprisonment, given his confirmed presence in various Roblox events.
Ready Player Two[]
During the Ready Player Two event, players could earn 1x1x1x1’s Teapot, along with a themed shirt and pants, by completing the quest in Bad Business. Within the event's lobby, 1x1x1x1’s face was subtly hidden, further emphasizing his mysterious and haunting legacy.
8th Annual Bloxy Awards[]
Despite not physically appearing, 1x1x1x1 serves as the overarching antagonist of the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards. The event revolved around the gradual depletion of the powerful Imagination Core, which players were tasked with restoring by collecting pieces of it scattered across different games. At one point, the main screen on the event ship glitches for a brief moment and displays the ominous phrase: "1x1x1x1 WAS HERE", confirming his hand in the sabotage and that this was one of his countless attempts to destroy Roblox. In addition, the occasional announcements in the voting area warning players to report anyone named 1x1x1x1 reinforced the sense of an active and dangerous presence. His face is also artfully hidden in the voting area, adding a layer of unease.
Metaverse Champions[]
In the Metaverse Champions event, cryptic references to 1x1x1x1 appeared once again. His infamous face returned, along with a chilling message: "1x1x1x1 will be here." These hints maintained his enigmatic presence across Roblox's evolving narrative.
The Hunt: First Edition[]
Prior to the beginning of The Classic event, the hub for The Hunt began showing nostalgic Roblox elements, like vintage trees and terrain textures. The screen would intermittently glitch, strongly suggesting 1x1x1x1’s imminent return.
The Classic[]
1x1x1x1 made his grand return as the main antagonist of the platform-wide The Classic event, where he supposedly teleported The Hunt's lobby into the past. 1x1x1x1 would then appear in multiple games as the main antagonist and sometimes as a boss fight as well.
A Dusty Trip[]
In The Classic quest of A Dusty Trip, players would encounter a new challenge every 2,000 miles, most of which were traps and/or obstacles orchestrated by none other than 1x1x1x1. As the players progressed further, he became increasingly aggressive, escalating the difficulty with more dangerous attacks, such as unleashing pirate enemies and launching streams of lava. Upon reaching 10,000-mile mark, players arrived at Roblox HQ, where they confronted 1x1x1x1 in a final showdown. There, he revealed that the players had walked straight into his trap and began attacking with bursts of flames. However, despite all the attacks he used against the players, he was ultimately defeated and was forced to leave A Dusty Trip alone. Defeating him rewarded the player with the fifth token.
Arsenal[]
In Arsenal's The Classic map, 1x1x1x1 launches an invasion by summoning a massive Noob army. Players must battle their way through waves of enemies to reach the end of the map. Upon arrival, they find 1x1x1x1 waiting alongside his remaining forces. With the press of a button, the entire army is defeated. In a surprisingly anticlimactic moment, 1x1x1x1 mutters a simple, defeated “Oh...” without even attempting any final retaliation.
Bee Swarm Simulator[]
1x1x1x1 starts an army with slimes and zombies in the game's The Classic map, and the players have to fend them off for at least 10 rounds. Standing silently atop a wall above the players' hives, he remained passive throughout, watching events unfold without interacting.
Blade Ball[]
1x1x1x1 appeared as a formidable boss in Blade Ball during The Classic event. Before the battle begins, he ominously warns players that he has been waiting them, and that this is the fate awaiting anyone who dares to change the past. Throughout the fight, he wields powerful admin commands to use against the players, launching laser-based shockwaves and manipulating the ball with precision to target them directly. His relentless assault blends strategy with spectacle, making the encounter both challenging and unforgettable.
Clip It[]
In the Prototype area of Clip It, the players are tasked with locating and filming a mysterious red splatter. Doing so opens a portal, revealing 1x1x1x1 trapped within. Strangely, he remains completely motionless, seemingly frozen in place. The constant flickering of ones and zeros around him suggests he hasn’t fully integrated into the game’s environment. To obtain the token, players must film him while he remains locked in this glitched state.
Driving Empire[]
1x1x1x1x1 spreads the tix around the classic island. Additionally, the player can ride him to his destination in the taxi quest. Unusually, 1x1x1x1 showed no aggression in Driving Empire, marking one of the few peaceful interactions with him in Roblox history.
Toilet Tower Defense[]
In the Crossroads map for The Classic event, 1x1x1x1 acted as a boss. Upon defeat, he would revert to his classic form. A themed skin of 1x1x1x1 was also available, allowing players to embody the iconic character.
Tower Defense Simulator[]
In Tower Defense Simulator, 1x1x1x1 serves as the mastermind behind a series of missions during The Classic event, recruiting powerful enemies like the Grave Digger, Korblox Deathwalker, and various other undead forces. In the first two missions, players must defeat the Grave Digger and Korblox Deathwalker individually. By the third and fourth missions, however, both villains are enhanced by 1x1x1x1’s power, making them far more formidable. In the fifth mission, the upgraded enemies return for a final confrontation.
Throughout the campaign, 1x1x1x1 taunts players via transmissions, ranting about his long imprisonment and boasting about his future plans to destroy Roblox. He frequently mocks both the players and the Commander, displaying arrogance and confidence. However, as his forces are repeatedly defeated, his tone shifts; he begins to plead with players to turn back, feigning weakness in a desperate attempt to escape defeat. In the climactic final mission, he summons the Fallen King as his last resort, but quickly loses control over the powerful entity. The players ultimately defeat the Fallen King, putting an end to 1x1x1x1’s schemes, at least for now.
Event Ending[]
On the final day of the event, a hidden entrance in the Epik Duck Vault was revealed after the Tix counter reached its limit and exploded. To access the vault, players had to locate four colored numbers scattered throughout the map and input them in the correct order, hinted at by a set of wires positioned to the right of the entrance.
Inside the vault, players discovered a glowing green-and-black sword. Pulling it triggered a dramatic final boss battle against 1x1x1x1, who emerged and relentlessly pursued the player, wielding his own sword with deadly intent. Players could use weapons earned through Tix during the event to aid them in the fight; alternatively, a Linked Sword was available in the arena for those without prior gear. Upon defeating 1x1x1x1, the game transitioned into a credits sequence, marking the climactic conclusion of the event.
The Games[]
Following the conclusion of The Classic, 1x1x1x1 was banished to the Banlands, with the hope that he would never be able to return. However, partway through the event, a mysterious set of rocks in the hub began to glow green. Soon after, binary code and heavy digital chains appeared on their surface, accompanied by a steadily ticking countdown. As the countdown reached zero, a portal suddenly opened near the rocks, signaling 1x1x1x1’s attempt to escape. Players who entered the portal were transported to a shadowy arena. There, 1x1x1x1 dramatically rose from beneath the platform, his back turned to the players. He slowly turned to face them, sneering before launching into a chaotic final battle. Throughout the fight, he unleashed tornadoes, meteors, and devastating attacks that even shattered parts of the platform. His goal was clear; to break free from the Banlands and resume his campaign to destroy Roblox. Despite his overwhelming power, players ultimately triumphed. As 1x1x1x1 was defeated, he began to glitch uncontrollably and fade from existence. In his place, the Glitch Hacker Laurel appeared, waiting to be collected by victorious players.
What became of 1x1x1x1 after his apparent defeat remains unknown. Whether he has truly been erased or is simply biding his time for a final return is a mystery. Still, many speculate that one last confrontation is inevitable, though no evidence has yet emerged to confirm it.

Powers & Abilities[]
- Dimensional Control: According to his lore, 1x1x1x1 is depicted as an entity from the fourth dimension, something that exists beyond normal Roblox reality, and even beyond real-life perception. This grants him several extraordinary abilities:
- Dimensional Travel: Though the method is unknown, 1x1x1x1 managed to cross from the fourth dimension into the third. While he doesn’t display overtly fourth-dimensional traits in his three-dimensional form, the mere act of crossing dimensions is already highly unusual.
- Fourth-Dimensional Physiology: As a fourth-dimensional entity, 1x1x1x1 is said to exist across all of space-time. This allows him to observe multiple games and players simultaneously, with access to information from both the present and the past. Some claim he can shift between fourth and third-dimensional forms at will, though this is not confirmed, as he is typically seen in a three-dimensional form within Roblox.
- Time Distortion: Myths suggest he can distort time within games, such as rewinding, fast-forwarding, creating loops, or even freezing entire servers.
- Reality Warping: On certain occasions, 1x1x1x1 has demonstrated the ability to alter reality itself: distorting environments, breaking physics, corrupting characters, and turning game worlds into chaotic, glitch-ridden nightmares under his control.
- Noncorporeality: Often portrayed as a non-physical presence, 1x1x1x1 is said to exist beyond the material world. He can slip through code, manifest through glitches, and influence the game without a stable or tangible form. This trait is believed to extend beyond Roblox, as a fourth-dimensional being would naturally be imperceptible in the third dimension.
- Digital Travel: 1x1x1x1 appears capable of entering digital platforms like Roblox, seamlessly integrating into the platform and its games as if he had always been there. It’s unknown whether this ability is exclusive to Roblox or extends to other digital environments.
- Video Game Manipulation & Hacking Mastery: He’s rumored to bypass Roblox’s security, take control of player accounts, and alter game code; spawning enemies, removing objects, or granting himself overpowered abilities. This gives him near-godlike influence within the platform, reshaping games into twisted playgrounds under his control. Some of the notable sub-powers that come with this ability include;
- Datakinesis:: 1x1x1x1 can access the game's data and make changes to it, for example in Blade Ball, while normally someone would die after being hit only once, 1x1x1x1 was able to withstand several damages by increasing his own health. However, this seems to apply to things that are already in the game, meaning he cannot grant himself a feature that does not exist in the game (e.g. immortality).
- Video Game Adaptation: 1x1x1x1 can adapt to any game he enters, regardless of its genre or mechanics. He integrates with the game's code as if he were always part of it, gaining full knowledge and immunity to bugs or glitches. However, this adaptation also makes him vulnerable; since he becomes part of the game, he can be affected by its rules and features. For example, in Blade Ball, despite using admin commands, repeated hits eventually caused him to vanish, just like regular players.
- Video Game Mimicry: In addition to adapting to games, 1x1x1x1 possesses the ability to replicate nearly any in-game feature, including those typically restricted to administrators. This encompasses character attributes, item functionalities, and the capacity to develop specialized abilities unique to each game. Such versatility enables him to effectively keep pace with, or even surpass, other players without significant limitations.
- Control Over Roblox: Thanks to his powers, 1x1x1x1 has performed several different abilities in the Roblox games he appeared in, some of which are as follows;
- Glitching: 1x1x1x1 is often seen as a walking glitch, capable of bending reality inside Roblox. He can cause maps to twist, collapse, or turn into corrupted, broken versions of themselves. Or, make gravity random, launching players into the sky, or causing platforms to behave unpredictably.
- Levitation/Flight: As seen in most games he has appeared in, 1x1x1x1 is seen being able to levitate/fly freely. This can give him a huge advantage, especially in combat.
- Size Shifting: While 1x1x1x1 appears to be the same size as a normal player most of the time, he is able to change his size at will and become gigantic, as seen in Arsenal, A Dusty Trip, and The Games.
- Limited Invulnerability: Many games see 1x1x1x1 temporarily become immune to all forms of damage, but these come in phases and often expire with time. However, in some games he is downright invulnerable, and cannot be harmed in any way.
- Portal Creation: 1x1x1x1 has been seen opening portals for different purposes in different games, but most often creates portals to escape after defeat or to move between locations.
- Tornado Creation & Meteor Summoning: In The Games event, he conjures natural disasters like tornadoes and meteors to attack the players.
- Shockwave Generation: In Blade Ball, he is seen being able to create laser-based shockwaves.
- Pyrokinesis: In A Dusty Trip, he is seen being able to unleashes fire waves to attack players.
- Teleportation: A common depiction of 1x1x1x1 is that he can teleport at will, appearing and vanishing in different locations.
- Mind Control: He is seen being able to control NPCs in games like Tower Defense Simulator and Arsenal,
- Swordsmanship: 1x1x1x1 seems to prefer a sword for his weapon of choice. He is seen always carrying a sword across games, adapting its function to fit each one; such as throwing projectiles in Blade Ball.
- Immortality: A recurring theme of 1x1x1x1 is that 1x1x1x1 can’t be permanently destroyed. Even if his physical form is "defeated" in events, he returns, stronger and smarter. He’s depicted as:
- Corrupting Others: Some stories suggest he can possess other players or NPCs, ensuring his influence continues even if his original form is gone.
- Living Within the Code: His current form is believed to be made of raw data, meaning traditional attacks or bans are useless against him.

Roblox's Quotes
“ | An ancient, extra-dimensional malevolence of unspeakable power, 1x1x1x1 loaths all three-dimensional beings and will stop at nothing to bring about their total destruction. Throughout history, miscreants and hollow pretenders have tried to take up the mantle of 1x1x1x1, but very few know his true name. | „ |
~ 1x1x1x1's description from the Action Collection Series 2. |
“ | An ancient, extra-dimensional malevolence of truly unspeakable power, 1x1x1x1 despises all things three-dimensional and will stop at nothing to bring about their destruction. Often imitated, but never equaled by those who seek to create chaos, there are also many who believe 1x1x1x1 is simply an urban legend or myth. | „ |
~ 1x1x1x1's description from the Roblox Character Encyclopedia, which is almost identical to the one from the Action Collection Series 2. |
“ | The enigmatic 1x1x1x1 likes to spend his downtime embroiled in a little bit of troublesome game-playing. His favorite is TheSteelEagle's Monster Islands, where he teams up with lesser beings to take on hordes of indescribable horrors across numerous islands. Not even the super-powerful bosses can match 1x1x1x1's evil. | „ |

“ | Welcome Robloxian, to the Metaverse HQ. This is Striker speaking. A.J. Striker. So you've decoded the message we sent to the Bloxys show and are interested in helping us out of this situation we've gotten ourselves into. Me and the other champions were suddenly transported into different realms across the Metaverse while we were enjoying a trip through the Bloxys until a dark figure suddenly appeared on screen. The ship we were on malfunctioned and the Imagination Core started glowing red, making noises of which we've never head before. We saw what looked to be another Robloxian appear from behind the core, resembling that same dark figure we saw before, but we could barely tell who or what it was. We're thinking that could have been the infamous 1x1x1x1, but our memories are very hazy and we can't remember what happened shortly after that. Robloxian, we are in dire need of your assistance. We've sent out crates in each of the universes we visited trying to find our way back that'll give you clues on where to find us as well as tools which should help make your journey not as troubling as ours has been and you won't have to return them. Think of it as a reward for your efforts. Hopefully those crates didn't get into the wrong hands before you can get to them.
We're counting on you. Your mission begins now. |

“ | I posted this in a thread that subsequently died. I'm posting it here so you can refer back to it later. Keep the link to this forum. Distribute it. Tell people the truth. Because the truth is actually quite boring. Lets talk about where the name comes from. Long ago, Telamon posted a number of stories about Roblox's backstory to the News. One of these included mentions of 2x2, the first brick. Copied over and over, every other brick were it's descendents. Then, in a footnote, he mentions the evil 1x1x1x1. So that's where the name comes from. Blame John. Lets talk about why people say he's a hacker. A guy who's name is long forgotten (not Zuka) found an exploit (not CheatEngine) to insert control scripts into online places. He sent me a message, telling me he had something to demonstrate. I joined him in Crossroads, and it started raining heads saying things along the lines of "He's coming back!" and "1x1x1x1 is coming for you!" and the likes. People in the server freaked out, I found it hilarious, he gave me instructions on how it works and I reported it to the devs. End of story. Other people, like Dignity, would find other way to insert scripts, and people would assume that they have something to do with "the hacker group" 1x1x1x1. Truth is, it was one guy playing off of a Roblox Lore thing. Get over it. It's that boring. | „ |

Miscellaneous
“ | He's participated in just about every battle throughout time. His cyborg arm is a trend of the 2100s: he created and attached it himself. AJ Striker is a hardened soldier, with a resolve of steel and a mysterious history. He has seen what Roblox was and what it will become. His home world was ravaged by war. He roamed the Metaverse and The Infinite looking for fulfillment on the battlefield by employing his tactical expertise wherever he saw fit. His efficiency with his plasma rifle may be systematic but his hotheadedness often led him into trouble, including the loss of his right arm. The wonders of future medicine gave him a second chance to search for glory and fame among the stars, but his ultimate defeat would soon be to come. Many Robloxians call him the true champion of the Metaverse, but little do they know, the infamous 1x1x1x1 is fond of someone like AJ and will do anything to make him the victor. | „ |

Trivia[]
- His toy's appearance came from a fan model, which is now his official appearance.
- During RB Battles Season 3, there were rumors that the hooded figure ordering Russo was 1x1x1x1 (amidst other rumors about the former’s identity). This was later proven false, with the hooded figure revealed to be JP.
- His boss fight in The Classic was panned due to being "simple and boring".
- In contrast, his boss fight in The Games received mostly positive comments, often being showed as an apology for the boss fight in The Classic.
- According to Necrobloxicon, 1x1x1x1 was also known as "The Adversary" in later ages. This moniker is most likely a reference to Satan, as he is referred to as such several times in the Bible, and is also a phrase frequently used in media to refer to him.
- However, despite the Necrobloxicon's old description claiming as such, 1x1x1x1 was never actually referred to as "The Adversary", not even in the official events he appeared in.
- Although rumors about 1x1x1x1 have been around for a long time, they weren't as popular and well-known as they are now, until The Classic event. 1x1x1x1 started gaining popularity after it started appearing in Roblox's official events.
- According to one of his descriptions from the Roblox Character Encyclopedia, his favorite game on Roblox is Monster Islands. However, it is also stated that he only plays it to cause chaos and terror around.
- Due to their similarities, 1x1x1x1, along with Guest 666, is considered by some as "Roblox's Herobrine".
- 1x1x1x1 is part of the first series of Mystery Figures series in Roblox toys, although he has an appearance that does not resemble any of 1x1x1x1's real avatars (for example, the figure wears a green Domino Crown that is not in the Roblox catalog), which is simply Roblox's referencing to the "Hacker" part of his myth.
- In the Metaverse Champions Hub, behind the largest rock formation is a hidden message written in ominous purple ink that reads "1x1x1x1 will be here." This message will only appear if the player has the Tiny Egg of Nonexistence from the Roblox catalog. Rarely, the hidden message will read "1x1x1x1 here" or "1x1x1x1 was here."
- On April 1, 2025, Bloxy News shared the trailer for "A Roblox Movie" on Twitter and YouTube. Although unofficial, many people thought it was real due to Bloxy News' close involvement with Roblox's actions and updates on the platform. The trailer's description reads, "When the menacing 1x1x1x1 threatens to take over the metaverse, only one (builder)man can stop the tragedy." However, as previously stated, this was just an April Fool's joke, as well as a reference to the "A Minecraft Movie." You can watch the trailer on YouTube from here.
- The description of 1x1x1x1 states "Throughout history, miscreants and hollow pretenders have tried to take up the mantle of 1x1x1x1." This is most likely a reference to the people who would use exploit in games like Natural Disaster Survival and call themselves a member of 1x1x1x1's exploiting group, thus making the myth seem real.
- In addition, 1x1x1x1's (second) original avatar had inspired a number of other hacker rumors or wannabe hackers to use a roundy head on their avatar.
- 1x1x1x1 had a few notable changes in his concept arts for the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards and The Games. However, both of them were scrapped, including his appearance in 8th Annual Bloxy Awards as a whole, and the classic design of 1x1x1x1 was used instead. Both of these concept arts can be found here.
- In 1x1x1x1's concept art for the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards, he had a glitching body instead of a transparent skeleton body, had green hair slicked back instead of his classic crown, wore a mask with an "X" on it, and glasses with a pair of red eyes that had a bright, angry expression. He also had a pair of boots, knee pads, a cape, and wore a belt. It can be said that they were trying to give him a more realistic and player-like appearance.
- There were almost no changes for his concept art from The Games, except that he had a pauldron and wielded a sword instead of a ban hammer.
- The first account named 1x1x1x1 was created in 2007. The account was later renamed to "request59245234857238947" and then "roblox_user_81619", and its ID is now 81619. This was due to a name reset exploit that occurred in Roblox back in 2010. Apparently, the perpetrators were xSCENEx, whom MrDoomBringer called "Long Forgotten".
- The recreated and more well-known 1x1x1x1 account was created by a user named makkapakka3 in August 2010. This is because the account shared the same passwords as other accounts he had previously created, and he had publicly stated this.
- On July 10, 2024, 1x1x1x1's username on Roblox has been changed to 'UN94988379'.
- The initial appearance of the first 1x1x1x1 account was directly based off an old Roblox Creepypasta called "Spirit", which was created just months before 1x1x1x1 was used in Shedletsky's story.
