Kim Yang, more commonly known as 4th Floor, is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside 6th Floor) of the Korean black comedy thriller television series The 8 Show.
She is a cowardly and hypocritical opportunist who sides with whatever side appears to have more power. Eventually, after her schemes were discovered, she was isolated by the lower floors and became a permanent ally of the higher floors.
She is portrayed by Lee Yul-eum.
Biography[]
4th Floor arrived and initially chose the 8th Floor key, but changed her mind and went with the 4th Floor instead, not knowing what she was picking at the time.
She later teamed with 8th Floor in order to gain favour with her, who controlled the food, allying herself with 6th as well. Upon 7th Floor's betrayal to assist the lower floors, her place as an ally of the top floors was solidified. Furthermore, she began helping 8th Floor with everything, including the eventual torture of the remaining floors.
Upon her first defeat, one of her teeth was pulled out by 1st Floor in anger, as he wanted revenge against the top floors for what they had done.
Later on, during the sleep deprivation torture, 1st Floor would apologize to 4th Floor and convince her to betray 8th Floor by revealing to her that one could switch floors. She assisted the lower floors in turning on 8th Floor, defeating her for the second and final time, however, it was revealed that no one could afford the room swap prices.
After 1st Floor's breakdown and death, resulting in the end of the show, she went to his funeral held by 3rd Floor, suggesting her redemption.
