Five, also written as 5, is a supporting antagonist of Mike Salcedo's Number Lore, the sequel to Alphabet Lore.
Biography[]
5 was created after 1 tried to make 7 using 3, and 4, which he couldn't due to his pack being low on energy. Instead, 1 ordered his clone to use the pack, and 4 to shield them from G and P. So 2 could create 5 with 3.
After One's clone died protecting his real counterpart, 5 turned his attention to G who was in front of him. G poked 5, but this caused the latter to fight back by smashing him into F's cave with P watching in horror.
5 watched in satisfaction as G succumbed to his injuries and died in front of P, who became very angry at 5 for killing her husband. P breathed an energy blast and broke out of the cube waste. 5 noticed Z trying to revive G with the ellipsis gem moons, so he halted the process by beefing up his muscles again and launching P into orbit, leaving her fate unknown and cracking apart the moons and causing them to crash in fragments onto Z.
5 decided to use this opportunity to show off his strength in front of the numbers by bench pressing a large shard. This annoyed them and 5 stopped immediately.
1 ordered 5 to take the asterisk gem to form an army of 5s to conquer Z while 1 and the other numbers turned F's cave into a castle. 5's clones rampaged across Z and chased several letters, who were all saved by a hammerhead shark letter, T. 5's clones came across Q, who gulped up the exclamation mark gem and became fast.
The real 5 and one of his clones stood at the near completed castle and bowed down to 1 when he crowned himself king of a new empire on Z.
