APEX Corporation are the main antagonists of Homefront: The Revolution. It is a technological multinational company based in North Korea headed by the Premier of North Korea John Tae-se.
History[]
Originally known as "APeX Computers", the company was founded by Joe Tae-se in 1972.
In the 21st century, APEX became the most economic and technologically powerful company spreading its cultural influence throughout East Asia.
In 2004, a year after Joe Tae-se passed away from cancer, his son John Tae-se succeeded him and renamed the company as APEX Corporation. He developed advanced weaponry, but unbeknownst to the public, every piece from APEX was chipped with remote access that allowed APEX to control over huge sections of the world's militaries.
In 2022, John Tae-se was elected as the Prime Minister of North Korea.
The United States was one of the highest paying clients of APEX using the APEX technology during the wars in Middle East. However, the United States was in debt and unable to repay APEX and the North Korean government. John Tae-se remotely shut down the U.S. military and its APEX-branded technology, and had the Korean People's Army invaded the United States under the pretense of forcing the U.S. to repay its debts.
In 2029, the Resistance and NATO launched the missile to destroy the APEX's satellite network. Therefore, the KPA can no longer track any Resistance activities and became more vulnerable to the attacks of the Resistance and NATO.
