Juan, Emilio, Mariano and Andrés witness a man supposedly withdrawing money from the ATM next to their flat, then they see another man taking the sports bag next to him. They manage to catch him, and later let him run away. The other man runs away afterwards, and the quartet opens the bag and sees there's a lot of money. Later the quartet count the money. Mariano want to share it out between the four. Juan suggests the thieves will want it back. Concha, Marisa and Vicenta also want a part of the money. Later, one of the thieves calls Juan and tells them they kidnapped Mariano and demand the money as payment, so Juan and Emilio go to the place they said to make the trade.
