Abaddon, also dubbed as Titanus Abaddon, is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Alan Jonah) of the 2024 action sci-fi monster video game Kong: Survivor Instinct, the first video game in the MonsterVerse franchise.
She is a giant arachnid-like Titan who was one of the many Titans that ravaged the globe under Ghidorah's command.
Biography[]
Godzilla: King of the Monsters[]
Abaddon was among the many Titans awakened by Ghidorah's alpha call in 2019 after she remained dormant in Monarch Outpost 77 beneath Devils Tower, Wyoming. She was later pacified after Madison Russell activated the ORCA in Fenway Park, although she does not arrive in time for the battle and doesn't even see Godzilla become the alpha of all Titans after he defeats and kills Ghidorah.
Kong: Survivor Instinct[]
In 2024, a device called the ORCA Σ and Kong's presence draws Abaddon's attention to the area. She starts attacking humans unprovoked and spawns Plague Weavers before turning her attention to David Martin. However, Kong intervenes, leading Abaddon to briefly battle him before she is forced to retreat.
Personality[]
Abaddon is depicted as nothing more than a murderous, sadistic, ruthless, cunning, cold-hearted, bloodthirsty and heartless Titan in nature, being hostilely aggressive towards humans or other creatures that she will attack on sight without being provoked. She will also use the remains of her victims to deter potential rivals. Her aggressive nature has led to Monarch classifying her as a "Destroyer".
Appearance[]
Abaddon is an enormous arachnid-like Titan who resembles a cross between a giant spider and a human skull. She has eight large, white eyes on both sides of her head, who appears similar in shape to a human's upper jaw. Her face has several creases and folds and features two fang-like protrusions. She has two large depressions on both sides of her thorax that resemble human eye sockets, and a third one at the center resembling a nasal socket. Connecting her legs to her body are several tendon-like structures.
