Biography[]
Abel Bisette is the son of a French billaionare Michael Bisette, and described as being a “simple man.” Michael built Adventure Valley Amusement Park for his son, who eventually inherited the business which became a popular destination. However, after many incidents, missing children and runaway cases, the amusement park started losing money as Abel was funneling money into his personal hobbies. Eventually, Abel sold the park to the bank and left town, with the amusement park collecting dust.
Decades later, Mark and his friends Brandon, Tyler, Scott and Koji fulfill a pact they made as children and pulled their money to the park. Renovating and passing safety inspections, the group decides to enjoy their favorite rides, with Mark and Brandon excited for Mountain Mayhem. The group, also consisting of Mark’s sister Charlotte and Scott’s girlfriend, the group goes on Mountain Mahyem with Charlotte operating the ride. Soon enough, they discover a mysterious “Track B” that they have no knowledge of, and decide to have it, with Charlotte pressing it and them being sent out. However, the track switches course and sends them into an underground cavern which takes a turn for the worst as they are sent upside down and their safety arm locks unlock, resulting in Tyler falling to his death and after another loop, Brandon falls and is hit by the coming cart. After expirencing minuets of horrific turns and near deaths, they are left on a large hill where there’s splitting tracks, and a small remote to make them choose which course to pick: One track leads to a track that goes down off the hill; One track leads them directly in a pool of water (with many empty carts down in the bottom); One track leads directly into a walk and the last track leads into a hole in the floor.
Mark chooses the last track and at the last second, manages to fall to safety as the cart carrying Koji, Scott and his girlfriend plummet down into the cave below, killing all three. As Mark loses consciousness, he sees in the corner of the room a window that leads into a blanks room with a chair facing the glass. As he wakes up in the hospital, it’s revealed that Charlotte called for help and was threatened into being quiet about what happened by mysterious men. And Mark realizes Abel Bisette created a “Track B” so groups of children can be sent to their deaths, forced to choose a brutal way to die all while he watched. Mark agrees to stay silent, for fear of what would happened to them and Mark would later look up Abel, and finds out he running several more small time theme parks, and Mark wonders if he should visit one, knowing that at least one ride will have a “Track B.”
