Abraham J. Stern is the titular main antagonist of The Blacklist episode of the same name.

He was portrayed by Nathan Lane who also portrayed Teddy Dimas in Only Murders in the Building, Preed in Titan A.E, Hamegg in the 2009 Astro Boy film and Snowbell in Stuart Little.

Biography

Past

Abraham's father stole hundreds of millions of dollars in Federal Reserve notes during the 1930s. Despite never being charged, Abraham's father was not able to get the money with him and he made a secret map hidden in four bronze Lincoln pennies so that Abraham could retrieve it later. However, Abraham didn't know of this and spent the pennies on candy before he received the letter from his father which told him about the secret map. Upon discovering this, Abraham dedicated the next forty years of his life to locate and retrieve the pennies. He used his position as a loan officer to get people to help him with his crimes. To retrieve the pennies, Abraham was responsible for a museum heist in Dubai which resulted in the deaths of three security guards.
