Carl "Crusher" Creel, better known as the Absorbing Man, appears as an unlockable villain in the video games LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and LEGO Marvel's Avengers. However, this version of the character notably diverges from his comic book counterpart in one key aspect: the complete absence of his signature ability to absorb the properties of matter or energy. In the LEGO games, Absorbing Man relies solely on brute force and his iconic wrecking ball chained weapon to engage in combat
Biography[]
Past[]
After drinking a beverage laced with Asgardian ingredients, Carl "Crusher" Creel became the criminal Absorbing Man. He can absorb the material of anything he touches and turn into that material. He can spread the effect to his clothes and wrecking ball. There is no limit to what he can absorb, light, water, copper, plastic, diamond, even Thor's hammer Mjolnir.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes[]
Absorbing Man is an unlockable playable character who does not feature in any story missions, nor does he appear as a boss or enemy to defeat. To unlock him, players must first locate his character token hidden within the open-world area of LEGO Manhattan, specifically in the Industrial District. He can be purchased for 150,000 studs.
LEGO Marvel's Avengers[]
As in the previous installment, Absorbing Man is solely an unlockable playable character, with no involvement in the main storyline or any unique interactions. This time, his character token can be found within the level titled A Loki Entrance. The character can be purchased for a mere 5,000 studs.
