Abu Ramal

Abu Ramal is a major antagonist in Season 5 of Prison Break. He is the leader of ISIL and is a fanatical religious Islamic fundamentalist.

He is a terrorist and a sadistic leader who also has perversions and has committed rapes.

He is played by Numan Acar.

Biography

After being imprisoned by the government of Yemen for being head of ISIL the lone CIA agent Poseidon makes a deal with Ramal to make him escape, as he did with many other people as in Egypt he sent Whip and Michael Scofield under a false name to help the prisoner escape from Ogygia.

After arriving under the name of Kaniel Outis, a terrorist and arms dealer collaborating with ISIL already begins to plan the escape with his Crew.

First Kaniel tries to get help from Cross in the solitary confinement cell but fails, forcing him to hide two objects to escape from solitary confinement in two different cells.

Meanwhile, he changes his plan to escape and organizes the Crew. Everyone in his Crew has an objective, however Poseidon has abandoned Whip and Scofield.

So Kaniel Outis began to deceive Abu Ramal into believing he wanted him to escape, however during a revolt Ramal discovers that Kaniel was betraying him but before he can act he is arrested and placed in solitary confinement with him.

Meanwhile the rebels are approaching so a happy Ramal threatens Kaniel but with the escape of the guards the last faithful guard is disarmed and killed by Cross who to avenge his brother's death and get insurance begins to try to break down the door of the corridor for the cells in isolation so that Ramal can be captured as a hostage, so Abu begins to collaborate with Outis and the Crew escapes from isolation by escaping from Cross who will then be killed by Whip the 5 escape without knowing that Barrows had opened the gate with the keys of a guard making prisoners escape.

The group flees but is betrayed by Abu Ramal who together with his Isil men surround the Crew and Ramal asks one of his men to record to capture the execution on video however Barrows arrives and with a turret threatens the rebels to lower their weapons , they do so and Whip disarms Abu by stabbing him in the stomach leaving him bleeding to death and being caught on video.

During Ramal's funeral the new rebel leader places a bounty on the heads of his assassins and passes Ramal off as a martyr.
