Abyss Heralds are a race of enemies from Genshin Impact. They are the superiors of Abyss Mages, serving as their commanders in the Abyss Order. According to Dainsleif, these monstrosities are even more twisted than Abyss Mages. Like their subordinates, Heralds are capable of harnessing elemental energy for weaponization and protection. They are primarily melee in contrast to their counterparts, the Abyss Lectors, though they also have some ranged attacks at their disposal
The Wicked Torrents Heralds are voiced by Kellen Goff, who also voiced Funtime/Molten Freddy, Fredbear, and the Daycare Attendant from the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, Diavolo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Kai Chisaki from My Hero Academia.

Heralds that conduct water magic. They attack using blades of water to slash the player, which can also conjure water projectiles to fire at their opponent. Once their health is depleted significantly, they will imbue themselves in a powerful Hydro Shield.

Heralds that conduct ice magic. They attack using blades of ice to slash the player, which can also conjure ice projectiles to fire at their opponent. Once their health is depleted significantly, they will imbue themselves in a powerful Cryo shield.

Klingsor[]
A former Sumeran scholar who arrived at the Girdle of the Sands to investigate Khaenri'ahan ruins in the area. Eventually he became allured by the power of the Abyss and transformed into a Hydro Abyss Herald. Later, he colluded with Nasejuna to steal the Great Songs of Khvarena to allow Abyssal Energy to engulf Teyvat, yet was foiled by The Traveler.
"Presager of the Abyss"[]
A Hydro Abyss Herald that appears in 4 separate Archon Quests. The Traveler fought them 3 times with it fleeing afterward. In the Archon Quest "Requiem of the Echoing Depths", they are finally defeated in the Chasm.
"Fortune Lector"[]
A Cryo Abyss Herald encountered during the quest Caribert. It guards the final chamber of the quest's dungeon, where the Sinner's crystal resides. It battles the Traveler to test their worthiness to continue and meet the Sinner.
