Ada's Mother or Sheep No. 3115 is the secondary antagonist of the 2021 film Lamb. She is a female sheep of the couple's farm and the biological mother of Ada.
Biography[]
One wintery night at a Farm, a mysterious unseen figure arrives at the barn and mates with one of the sheep, No. 3115. Later, farmer María and her husband Ingvar are shocked to learn that one of that the Sheep has given birth to a bizarre female human/sheep hybrid. The couple grow to love the hybrid lamb as their own child, take it in as their own, and name her Ada after María's deceased daughter. However, the Mother Sheep goes completely crazy, as she starts to become a nuisance, attempting to contact Ada constantly and loitering outside the couple's home. After an incident where Ada goes missing and is later found next to her mother, María shouts "Go Away" at the Sheep, but she refuses, so María shoots the Mother Sheep down with a sniper rifle after Ingvar and Ada go inside the house and buries her body in a shallow, unmarked grave. Although unaware, Ingvar's brother, Pétur, who arrives at the farmhouse shortly before the killing, witnesses the incident before sleeping in the barn. He even mentions if Ada knows about her real mum's death and says to María that if she refuses to kiss him, he will tell Ada about the Sheep's death.
