Adalman is a supporting character of the anime, manga and light novel series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. He is an undead that was initially a member of the Five Fingers of Clayman known under the name of “Index Finger”. He later joined Rimuru’s side, became a member of his Twelve Guardian Lord and is also the current Guardian of the 70th floor of “The Dungeon”.
In Japanese, his voice was provided by Tomokazu Sugita, while J. Michael Tatum dubbed him in English.
Appearance[]
Adalman is a slim undead in priest-like robes as a former follower of Luminous Faith. He wears a long white robe with gold-trimmed decorations and a purple cape. He wears a crown with small horns.
Personality[]
Adalman was a devored follower of Luminous and the strongest Holy Magic user in Luminous Faith. After converting to "Rimuruism," his zealous nature made him even stronger. Though initially insecure about using Holy Magic as a Wight King, he overcame this over time. He despised Clayman for forcing him to guard his castle and appreciated Shuna for freeing him from Kazalim's curse. He grew close to Rimuru and the Twelve Guardian Lords, becoming deeply loyal to them.

- Adalman gives a benediction to Rimuru whenever he makes an accomplishment or gains a victory.
- He is grateful to Shuna for teaching him holy magic is not limited to humans; even to an undead like Adalman himself, so long as he has faith.
- Adalman could have regained his human appearance upon his evolution; he chose to stay a skeleton as he had grown accustomed to his undead form.
- While Rimuru has allowed a church for the Luminous faith to be built in his city, Adalman refuses to be near it; though he tells Rimuru what he knows to help worshippers.
