Adam Barlow is a major character in Coronation Street, appearing in the series originally as a recurring character from 2001 to 2003, then as a regular character from 2004 onward. After leaving in 2007 he returned in late 2016, in which he appeared as an antagonist, before becoming an antihero in 2017.
He is the son of major Corrie bad boy Mike Baldwin (as played by Johnny Briggs) and shares similar traits to his father such as his cockiness and deceiving people.
He is currently portrayed by Samuel Robertson, who has been playing the part since 2004. He was previously played by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D actor Iain De Caestecker from 2001 to 2003.
