Adam Elmhirst is an antagonist in the Young Bond novels "Shoot To Kill" and "Red Nemesis". He was a British intelligence operative working for the Secret Intelligence Service.
Biography[]
Elmhirst first met James Bond in Los Angeles, Elmhirst having been forced by His Majesty's government to recruit James for a special mission consisting of a coded mystery by his father. However, it is eventually revealed that Elmhirst was a double-agent working for the Soviet. During an attempted terrorist attack in London, Elmhirst tried to escape to safety but he was shot in the shoulder by James. This caused him to fall and impale himself on the radio mast below, killing him.
